All with air-conditioning, living area with satellite TV, complimentary WiFi, semi self-catering kitchenette with tea/coffee maker, microwave, safe and hairdryer. Classic Rooms, formally known as Standard Mountain Facing Rooms, feature an open-plan kitchenette, seating area, desk, bathroom and separate toilet. Rooms have 1 double bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Classic Mountain/Ocean Rooms, formally known as Mountain/Sea Facing Rooms, have 1 double bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Modern Classic Apartments have a lounge and dining area with an open-plan kitchenette, separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Available with mountain or urban views, and 1 king-size bed and sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Ocean Suites overlook the infinity pool and the Atlantic Ocean, and have an open-plan kitchenette, lounge, desk, separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Suites have 1 king-size bed and sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Family Ocean Suites have 2 bedrooms (with 1 king-size bed in one room and 2 twin beds in the second room), open-plan kitchenette, lounge, desk and a shared bathroom, sleeping maximum 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Signature Family Ocean Suites have 2 bedrooms, a generous living area, 2 bathrooms and ocean views. Suites have 2 king-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 2 children (under 12 years, sharing a sofa sleeper).

Complimentary hotel shuttle to the V&A Waterfront (four times daily) during season.

The Islands Restaurant (buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch and dinner), Botany Café (healthy deli), Senate Bar, The Deck Bar, The Base Artisanal Pizzeria.

Did ask a few times for the pigeon poop to be cleaned! Great location close to the promenade and shops and restaurants. Can walk safely one way to Clifton and Camps Bay. The other way to the V&A Waterfront. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus but it is first come, first served. Negatives: It is a family hotel so very noisy around the pool area if you do like relaxing. No adult only area unfortunately! Kids pool directly next to adult pool! Hotel is open to non guests so can be busy at weekends and holiday times. Staff do struggle at this time and service levels did fall! No bath robes/slippers. Plates for food need to be hot! Wifi can be frustrating in bedrooms but ok in public areas.... No hospitality room provided for late departures. Only one female/male shower in a very small gym which is in a basement! No plugs for hairdryer/shaver! Lovely, friendly and helpful staff and a perfectly comfortable hotel if you intend touring beautiful Cape Town. If you want pure relaxation though check it's not holiday time! It does get very busy.... Read less

Lovely pool, cocktail menu. I love the restaurant and their menu, food was good every time. What I loved was in the morning we would either order takeaway bootlegger coffees or we would go get them, such a beautiful way to watch the sea and having coffee. Lovely small spa as well. There is a lovely play area for the kids,and lovely shallow water pool for the kids. The family room in this hotel is truly my favourite! Big and spacious! Read less

Superb hotel ideally located ,couple minutes walk from the beach. Plenty of bars restaurants & short taxi drive away. Room was kept spotlessly clean thought our stay.Got to give a special mention for all the hotel staff… credit to the president hotel!!👏👏
