This is a smart hotel situated in the centre of this lovely town. The rooms are smart and well appointed with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast service is excellent with so much choice and the hotel has an excellent restaurant. Also the staff on reception were very helpful with a ticket issue I had for the rugby and I was so grateful. The only complaint we had and which has stopped me giving five stars is that we enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant but wanted to enjoy another of their excellent Chocolate Vodka Martini's but they had closed the bar at 9.50 pm on a Thursday night which spoilt the stay. I acknowledge staff need to go home but I would expect a hotel of this quality to offer a bare service to al least 11 pm. Read less

We loved our stay at this hotel. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Location was brilliant with great views, and the service we received was superb - all staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable.

For 2 nights that we were there, they occupied all the seats of the pool. Screaming and yelling till 2:30AM! I complained to the manager but she obviously couldn’t do anything . I would recommend putting signs everywhere for quiet hours like some luxury resorts . Informing guests like me of a group staying here so we can go to other hotels. My trip to Franschhoek was ruined from lack of sleep! Read less
