Known for it's wonderful vineyards, surrounded by incredible mountain ranges, Last Word is the perfect place to rest your head after a day on the Franschhoek Valley Wine tram. Alternatively, spend the day just enjoying the incredible facilities that the hotel has to offer.

There are 8 Superior Rooms and 2 Pool Suites across two floors. All with WiFi, safe, flat screen TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, air-conditioning and complimentary minibar and snacks. Superior Rooms feature a queen-size bed, separate lounge area and large bathroom with both a bath and a shower. Ground level Superior Rooms also boast their own private patio area with seating.
Pool Suites feature the same amenities as the Superior Rooms but also include their own semi-private swimming pool and patio area. Pool Suites are also larger in size than the Superior Rooms.

Rates include breakfast and all beverages and premium spirits. Small outdoor swimming pool. Fitness centre. Resident bar (self-service bar). Complimentary concierge service. Free secure parking.

Please note: children aged 5 years and below are not permitted to stay at this hotel.

It was the most relaxing and enjoyable stay we could have wished for. Everything about the hotel is so genuinely warm, inviting and special. The staff were so friendly and helpful and honestly made the visit the highlight of our three week trip to SA. The location is perfect, rooms really well appointed and the well stocked honesty bar was the icing on the cake! Breakfast was delicious each morning. Franschhock is jam filled with great hotels but the Last Word is the jewel in the crown. Thanks to Conrad, Franklin and all the staff for an amazing stay and great memories :) Read less

Fantastic hotel. Amazing room. Large, comfy and all amenities you need. Breakfast was great. Lovely to have it all brought to you at your table. Great shower. Near everything. Conrad and staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Nice touch with bubbly, candles and dessert for our wedding anniversary. If you’re in this area stay here.

A lovely boutique hotel in Franscheok, which was delightful to stay, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay and take in the sights, and wine tasting experiences.
