You can’t beat the location of this hotel, and it was clean. The staff was friendly, and I had plenty of amenities. However, this hotel applies the LF fee to their charges, and the desk clerk misrepresented the LFE as municipal tax,. When I pressed and questioned and asked them to remove this, she told me she was not able to I asked to speak to the supervisor who reiterated that it was a fee that I agreed to pay in my room booking. When I looked at the charges on my booking confirmation, it says conference and tourism fee it does not mention the LF fee. Not only is the staff at this hotel, passing it off as a tax in order to legitimatize this charge, but it is misrepresented on their booking confirmation. I was also told that it was hotel policy to apply this charge, but that’s also not true because we had dinner at Massimo‘s and brunch at the Fallsview buffet and both restaurants we’re happy to remove the charge upon request. They also applied the LF fee to our parking and to spa charges, and one could argue that I did not agree to those charges when I booked the room. I am disappointed in the brands reluctance to remove these superfluous charges, which anybody who knows anything about the LFE knows that is nothing more than a cash grab to put money into the pocket of the business The bottom line- do your research ahead of time. There are businesses that don’t charge this ridiculous fee. And speak up if enough people speak up maybe legitimate businesses will get rid of this ridiculous fee. Read less

I actually felt emotionally looking out of our room window (see my photos). The breakfast was out of this world. Again the view of the falls is incredible. The breakfast its self is proudly the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. AND they very kindly brought me out the most delicious piece of chocolate cake for my birthday! So much to choose from and such good quality. I don’t have one criticism of this hotel. The staff were lovely and the location absolutely perfect! Thank you for having us. I’ll definitely be coming back! Read less

We had a very nice stay recently at the Sheraton Fallsview. Our room had a lovely view overlooking Oakes Garden and the American Falls, even though it was only on the 3rd floor. We weren’t bothered by any street noise since November is off-season, but could see that there might be more noise in the height of the summer. If a more expansive view of both falls was important, then we would recommend an upper floor room. Upper floor City View rooms have no Falls views but do look out over the lively Clifton Hill area. Sheraton’s website room descriptions are very informative so should help you pick the best room suited for your needs. One caveat, we were in a room that adjoined the next room, and kids in that room kept rattling their door between. Not a huge deal. We had not stayed at the Sheraton for a number of years and were pleased with the new decor and the upgraded bathroom fixtures. The bed was, as always, really comfortable! All the staff we encountered were super friendly and the check-in/check-out is speedy, especially with the app. The lobby has also been revamped and has a very comfortable open plan and a variety of seating. You can pick up beverages and quick eats at the Starbucks and Freshii. It all flows well into the expansive souvenir shop, wine bar, and the Wine Rack where you can pick up a bottle of Ontario wine for your room or to take home. We did not make use of the other facilities like the spa, gym, or pool, but from previous stays, we know that without going outside, guests have access to an amusement area for kids, a small food court, the Waterpark, Hard Rock Cafe, Casino Niagara, and even the historic Brock Crowne Plaza Hotel. This hotel is easily the closest (1 block) walk to the Niagara Parkway and beginning of Victoria Park. We look forward to our next stay. Read less
