Hotel information

30 villa suites. All with ocean-facing decks complete with a double day bed and plantation chairs, outdoor shower, air-conditioning, WiFi, desk or workplace, mini-bar, (restocked daily), tea/coffee maker, TV and safe. Situated on raised stilts Beachfront Villas Suites are split-level suites offering panoramic views and direct beach access, with 1 king bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

All Inclusive includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner from menus that change daily. Afternoon snacks. Canapés at cocktail hour. Beverages including premium branded drinks and a selection of house wines.

Room upgrades

Garden Pool Villa Suites offer split-level living close to the beach, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

A favourite with honeymooners, Hillside Pool Suites are perched on the cliffside and boast a sunbathing deck with chaise lounges and personal plunge pool, open air dining and sitting area, and 1 king bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

The Restaurant (all-day dining, local specialities and international dishes). New Beach Club (grill restaurant). Tree Bar. Pool Bar.

Daily live music at the pool bar.

Main pool. Spa* with complimentary pilates as well as yoga and meditation classes. Gym. Non-motorised water sports including snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaks, paddle boards, Hobie cats and sunfish sailing. Guided farm tours and weekly cooking classes.

Finding enough superlatives to describe Hermitage Bay is difficult other than to say this is a slice of paradise. Its supreme location with a long white sandy beach against a spectacular hillside back drop of lush greenery makes for a calm and peaceful ambience. From the moment of arrival to departure your stay is made to be etched in the memory. The welcome is exceptional and you are made to feel part of the very special Hermitage family. The level of service is unique in so much that not only is your every need and wish taken care of but it is overlaid with each and every member of staff's warmth and individual personality. Since our previous visit the new beach club is a fabulous venue for lunch. The food is excellent with the sharing platter for starters, a great way to wake those taste buds with incredile flavours. Afternoon sushi, which the chef creates in front of you, is another innovative enhancement at the Tree bar. Overall the food is faultless with a wide choice and the knowledge that the onsite organic kitchen garden has provided much of the food on your plate. The accommodation is beautiful The suites are both spacious and luxurious. Waking to either spectacular landscape views or the sea lapping against that white sandy beach is the most relaxing, mindful and wonderful experience. Wow we have just had the most glorious stay at The wonderful Hermitage Bay … we last stayed in 2019 and loved every second and didn’t think it could be any better but wow I was wrong … so many lovely enhancements … one of my favourite is the fabulous new beach club that provides a wonderful lunchtime spot with incredible food and great entertainment too just footsteps from the waters edge is has such a fabulous atmosphere with a fun vibe really fabulous ! Last time we stayed in a hillside suite and thought it couldn’t be beaten but this time we were in a beach front suite and we totally loved it especially with the new fantastic extended deck and wow the best thing is that view to wake to and of course the outdoor shower … I now struggle to decide which would be my favourite suite type … one thing is for sure there is something for everyone if you prefer to be on the beach or a hillside villa with a private pool … also the garden villas are beautiful and tranquil and now have private pools too … great if you want to be close to the beachfront and also near to the lobby and restaurants Another fantastic additional is the tree bar and this serves Sushi daily too as well as delicious cocktails But for me the biggest thing is the feeling of welcome and feeling you have arrived home … from the moment we arrived and were greeted with such a warm welcome and cool flannels the feeling of knowing we were in for a fantastic time was evident … It so special to be greeted so warmly by the special team here who are like a big family and clearly love what they do … they make Hermitage Bay the fanatic special resort that it is … from the front desk / concierge to the fantastic restaurant and bar staff who all are so warm friendly and are keen to ensure we were having a fantastic time … This beautiful resort gives a feeling of calm and tranquility along with the most delicious food and superb service … better than ever and can’t wait to return … Thankyou Hermitage Bay Read less

Words cannot describe how amazing this resort is. Peaceful, laid back and calming are the words that come to mind. From our arrival to our departure, there is not one thing I would change. The way the all-inclusive portion of your stay is structured with regard to food and drink works incredibly well. The food and drinks were delicious! The service from everyone we encountered from reception to restaurant staff, the spa to housekeeping and from waterfront servers to bell people was positive, friendly and efficient. I have never had my needs so well anticipated! Our hillside pool villa was spacious and the bed was actually comfortable. I had some trepidation about the outdoor shower but it was completely unfounded. It provided privacy, amazing water pressure and toiletries that smelled great. Our spa service with Sharon was very relaxing and rejuvenating and the spa itself is beautiful and serene. My fiance and I are already making plans to go back. It is expensive but worth every penny and beyond reasonable for the service, accommodations and food and drinks they provide. Read less

This is a must! The expert sushi chef skilfully prepares beautiful plates while you watch on. The fish is locally sourced and the delicate sauces make each dish unique.
