The hotel

The Escape at Nonsuch Bay Resort in Antigua is a modern adult-only, All-Inclusive getaway, perfect for couples. While a part of the larger Nonsuch Bay Resort complex, Escape Antigua is located on the other side of the hill which is out of sight and at least a quarter of a mile away from the Residences section of the resort. The Escape features its own fine-dining restaurant, reception, lounge and other public facilities. All meals are provided exclusively at the Drift restaurant located at Escape.

Hotel information

40 luxury ocean front plunge pool suites designed with comfort, romance and island living in mind. Each suite is designed with a king-sized bed, along with an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and double vanity basins. The suites also feature an elegant wet bar/coffee centre, along with a seating area perfectly aligned to the views, an outdoor soaking tub and relaxing day beds overlooking the private plunge pool. Available with either a garden view or a bay view, sleeping 2 adults.

All Inclusive of: all meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All activities and entertainment unless otherwise stated.

Deluxe Plunge Pool Suite - available to book from the 1st July 2025. Suites offer better views and locations than the Garden Views with access to additional amenities.

Shuttle from The Escape to Nonsuch Bay. Shuttle by boat from The Escape to the nearby beaches of an Offshore Island*.

The Drift Restaurant & Bar is opened for cocktails, breakfast, lunch, and dinner as apart of the All-Inclusive package.

1 infinity pool (separate from all private plunge pools). Spa services*. Kayaking. Yoga*. Nature walks. Resort extras* (floating amenities, private picnics, private dinners and sunset cruise). Guests can also use the beach and beach bar located at the Residences section of the resort. 'Escape with Love' experiences and Resort Extras that can be added to your trip (advance booking recommended).

Complimentary Wi-Fi in rooms and in the lobby reception. Pre-arrival contactless check-in system, allowing guests to skip the check-in line and focus on enjoying their stay.

I appreciated the personal touch offered by the staff here. A small resort offered us the opportunity to rest, relax and reconnect. We got to know the other guests, and staff, and were greeted by name. The staff offered stellar concierge services as well, and it truly felt like personal care, as opposed to a sales tactic experienced at other resorts. This ensured fair prices and wonderful experiences on our excursions. We felt respectfully supported while still enjoying privacy and time to alone. I would absolutely recommend this resort for anyone who is seeking a tranquil place to rest with the options to explore the beautiful country, or experience the night life still available. Read less

We arrived here on a Saturday night, the guy that brought us from the airport was lovely and the staff on arrival were incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and bed was comfy. Unfortunately our pool was dirty, I was told if I asked they would clean it. The problem is whoever cleans your room or pool, they leave the doors wide open. This lets lizards and spiders into your room. The worst part is the mosquitoes coming in and there’s a lot of them here. So unfortunately we didn’t want our room cleaned much. Drinks were nice , some people weren’t great at making them but most were. The food was pretty disappointing. The bbq was amazing and they should definitely do that more. The meals were very carb loaded. At times only carbs with very little of anything else. Just plain noodles or pasta , very poor! When there was something nice on the menu like a curry, the portions were that small. Always very little vegetables or meat. I did complain and was told there’s been a few complaints. Unfortunately we stayed at another hotel for a night, to enjoy a better hotel and food. We were annoyed about this. I never once on this holiday felt full . Portions were far too small and I’m not even a big eater. Most staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is very far from anything and also not the best beach. Would we stay here again…… no definitely not. Food and drinks are a big part of your holiday and if they focused more on making people happy and not cutting corners and saving money then they’d do well. When the food was good it was tasty …… but still tiny portions. When it was bad it was terrible. Plain noodles with 2-3 pieces of shredded carrot or red cabbage is poor! And just not ok. Felt more like school dinners. Was meant to be a 40th birthday trip but was definitely disappointed unfortunately. Read less

Perfectly named if you want to 'escape' Staff fantastic, service great, good selection of food Not ideal for people with walking impairments Would suggest hiring a car as taxi fees can add up. The sunset reggae trip with Devan was outstanding and Devan is a great guy and keen photographer

An absolutely peerless stay. The accommodation was luxurious, and superbly serviced. The staff all wonderful, the food and drink exemplary and nothing ever was too much trouble. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely be back.

What an amazing place to chill. Staff fabulous, food great especially as served and weekly BBQ great fun with excellent food. Room and plunge pool very clean and private. The bar and reception views amazing. Beach bar our favourite. Would definitely return.
