The hotel

Throwing you into the full Atlantis experience, The Royal is as legendary as the myths that inspired and infuse them. The architecture, the artwork, the adventures — each have a cheeky nod to the Lost City of Atlantis, but the well-dressed rooms and suites are a little less kitsch, coming with French or full balconies and views over the terraces, water, or harbour. The Royal — central to the myth of Atlantis — Atlantean-themed murals, décor and mosaics abound, it is here that the lost city comes to life! The Royal rooms features French balconies with terrace, harbour or water views. 1,083 rooms and 118 suites on 24 floors, all with air-conditioning, flat-screen HDTV, WiFi access, alarm clock, tea/coffee makers, safe, hairdryer, mini-fridge*, iron and ironing board, and bathroom amenities.

Terrace View Rooms offer inland views of the complex and resort, with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds sleeping maximum 4 people.

Casual Dining Plan option:includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at one of the following eateries: Breakfast: Murray’s Deli, Plato’s, Poseidon’s Table. Lunch: Aquaventure Quick Bites, Marina Pizzeria, McKenzie’s Conch Shack, Murray’s Deli, Plato’s, Shake Shack, Sip Sip. Dinner: Bimini Road, Marina Pizzeria, McKenzie’s Conch Shack, Silan, Poseidon’s Table, Shake Shack, Sip Sip, Sunset Point.

Please note:

  • Dining Plan includes drip coffee, tea, iced tea, lemonade, fountain soda, fruit punch, and juices (canned soda where applicable). It does not include alcoholic beverages, sports drinks, bottled water, and bottled beverages, which will be billed separately.

Atlantis Breakfast Plan: includes one breakfast food item per person at participating venues. It includes a full breakfast buffet at Poseidon’s Table.

Imperial Club Rooms are available with terrace, harbour or water views, and are located on the top floor with exclusive check-in at the sun lounge, featuring either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

1 Bedroom Grand Suites feature ocean views, an expansive living/dining room, refrigerated service bar, and master bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

2 Bedroom Grand Suites are the same as above, with the addition of a connecting bedroom with 2 queen-size beds and an extra bathroom, sleeping maximum 8 people.

Atlantis is truly a paradise-something for everyone! Solo, couples or families- you have it all in one resort. Been there 7 times now and never disappoints! Staff is extremely friendly and always looking to provide whatever is needed to ensure a great stay!

Wonderful experience at the hotel. Incredible integration of the animals throughout the property. Beautiful, clean and luxurious room. Staff was friendly and food was more reasonable than expected. Our family had a wonderful holiday and our kids said it was the best hotel in the world.

This was the most terrible trip ever. First off, our room television did not work - which would be find but it was a rainy day and the kids wanted to watch movies. It also houses other features such as ordering room service. For over 3+ hours we were told someone would come up to fix it. After several calls and visits to guest services, the manager finally gave me his number to call if no one was up in 30 min. When no one was up, I called to receive the message - "this number is not in service." It was written down on a business card, I dialed it correctly and nothing. I finally was able to get a new room. When the weather finally cleared, we went to the water park. The woman shared their system was down and she had no wristbands. I asked how my kids could access the slides and she shrugged, telling me we were out of luck and would just have to wait. After going back and forth with her and guest services at the Royal (who also told me there was nothing they could do), I finally sent my kids up without their bands. When we went to get towels at the towel station, they were out of towels. It was raining at the time and the woman looked me straight in the face and shared - "Your kids are going to get wet, they don't need towels." We ordered room service at 6:50pm. I was told it would be 45 minutes. At 8pm, I called looking for it and was told 30 more minutes. At 8:30, I was told they were on their way up. At 8:50pm I was told they were headed up. At 9pm, no answer. They finally arrived at 9:10pm and my order was wrong. We experiences a great deal of eye rolling and rude remarks. Completely unacceptable. We will never return. It is a lot of money to spend to be treated like garbage. Read less
