Coconut Court Beach Hotel

Barbados, Caribbean

Virgin rating

The hotel

About as ‘seaside’ as you can get, the Blades family have called this sand-hugging spot home for more than four decades. And they chose a pretty perfect beach for their hotel — which is probably why hundreds of Hawksbill marine turtles call it home too. As you’re here for the beach, the Blades have made sure you’re never far from it, whether you’re lazing on the free loungers, watching moonlight movies on the sands, soaking in the seafront pool and whirlpool, sipping frozen cocktails at the beach bar, or lingering over candlelit suppers at Coco's. The beach itself is lined with beautiful trees to provide natural shelter from the Caribbean rays, so those that don't wish to worship the sun need not worry. It’s not just by the beach though — it’s also steps from South Coast Boardwalk which links you to an array of shops, restaurants and Rockley Beach. The hotel also features an open air restaurant overlooking the white sand beach. Above all else, do not forget to savour a Pirate Punch during one of the several 'happy hours' each day — a traditional Blades family recipe with a twist!

Reported it to management that did nothing to remedy the situation . So we stayed out all day spending a lot of money on meals . Also situated directly next to Jake’s car park ( noisy till the small hours ) . No glass in the windows so can’t shut out the traffic . Industrial trading estate car park directly outside kitchen window . So that was active all day and road servicing staff carpark directly out side your front door .so all the lovely pictures you see promote the main hotel which is lovely . We asked to be moved but were told hotel was full . We asked for compensation so we could relocate , but that was also declined . We were offered a free breakfast though which we were astounded they thought that was acceptable 😳 Read less

We were given an alternative on the ground floor but this was totally unacceptable as the is no security between the public beach and the ground floor apartments and therefore the doors had to be locked and there were not any windows we could open.
