What if that tapped into the money we needed to get my kids home - they simply did not care. I would not recommend booking with them, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. And considering the resort opened up in 2019, our room was pretty dirty. Food was cold. Staff had terrible attitudes. Terrible customer service and didn’t make it any better they charged me more when I arrived due to their error with no consideration of a courtesy discount. If you have other vacation options - go there first! Read less

What hot mess is this?? I have never been as happy to check out of an "all-inclusive" hotel as I am today. What hot mess is this?? I have never been as happy to check out of an "all-inclusive" hotel as I am today. I am Jamaican-Canadian, so I'm definitely not your run of the mill North American with no concept of Jamaican culture or norms. So believe me when I say this hotel was truly an embarrassment. I'll start from the beginning to the end - the front desk staff was amazing, especially the manager Lorraine, who was on duty when we checked in. Super awesome lady with a beautiful smile and personality to match. She should train Lazonia (sp) who was on duty when we were checking out and rudely berated the hardworking front desk staff in front of the guests. My family booked 2 rooms, a rooftop being among them. Save your money if you're thinking of upgrades. Not even a rooftop room will get you to the privilege side of the beach, which is the side without moss and sharp stones. I went hungry most evenings, this was preferable to the long delays and lines to get into restaurants. Your best bet is the main dining hall which is reminiscent of an old high school cafeteria, replete with grouchy wait staff. The rooms were shoddily painted, fixtures are lean, jacuzzis with broken edges and more...this hotel could not have been built in 2019. The rooms have the look of something hastily tossed together after the budget was expleted on the lobby. To the international Ocean administrative team, please stop giving my home country a bad name. If you cannot provide the services to which Jamaicans are accustomed on vacation, then shut this down and start over. Read less

Everything is just okay at best. While the front desk staff and bellmen seem friendly enough, the restaurant operations are a mess. Long waits at the grill and breakfast bar, coupled with a lack of basic services, make dining a frustrating experience. On top of that, the staff in these areas seem noticeably grumpy, which dampens the atmosphere further. The biggest disappointment is the stark difference between regular access and Privilege access. The Privilege side gets a better beach, bar, and overall service experience, while regular guests are left feeling second-rate. When we inquired about upgrading to Privilege for our family of 14, we were quoted $250 per day for immediate family or $880 per day for our entire group. That’s not even for a room upgrade—just for better beach access, a bar, and a fe Read less
