El Senor Frank May is an extraordinary pianist. The Vine is to be commended for selecting him While walking through the lobby, I was stopped by his playing. Listening, I was impressed by the innovations he used in familiar selections, e.g. Beatles and Earth Wind and Fire. Frank played great arrangements that avoided sing-a-longs, and his thoughtful improvisation increased my appreciation of each melody. One evening I was stopped again, listening to something beautiful that I had never heard. I waited for his next interlude to ask about it. When he told me he said that it was made famous by a singer. I privately thought, “That music was extraordinary without a singer.” The next day I researched “Sinful Passion” by Dimash. I learned that the singer was more than equal to the task; I played it three times. The point is that I would never have been introduced to the song or the singer because the singer was from Uzbekistan, nor would the people that I know, (the first person I sent the information to is a professional musician}. El Senor May, a Mexican, spread his musical knowledge to other countries, by playing in the lobby of The Vine. Who would have guessed? Read less

Visit Jose and Victor at Olio. The best restaurant, hands down!!! Everything would have been nice to very nice except one issue and the management basically blew off my concerns plus it took me two nights to get the opportunity to discuss my concerns as the first time I attempted to reach a manager they were busy (which is understandable) I was told they would contact me within 30-45 minutes so I sat in my room waiting to discuss my concern and no one contacted me (which is unacceptable) . The 2nd night I went back and found a manager to share my concerns but the "solution" was far from a solution and was basically a total blow off to me and my family. Read less
