We get the preferred rooms which are higher so we love the view from our room with both ocean and lagoon view. However, the only thing that keeps me not coming back is the balcony. There’s no privacy when sitting outside and it drives me crazy. You can see the entire row of the floor.

Preferred club is a must - you get and infinity pool and that’s worth it on its own, I wouldn’t go unless I did preferred.

staff food and beach was excellent! check in was seemless they allowed late checkout the food was prepared excellently and the staff always made sure everything was clean. room service was fast and preferred benefits were well worth the extra money.

Partial ocean view room seemed a little tired and spartan. No sitting chair in the room. Only disappointment was the beach. It’s as wide as the property but narrow with quite a drop from where the loungers are to the water. Lots of public traffic on the beach has people passing quite closely. In this area of development along the shore the hotels are close to each other and the properties are rather narrow unlike the sprawling properties further in to the hotel zone. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Guess Secrets The Vine is moving into the convention business, and forgetting their paying guests. Hopefully they be able to sink the money into the beach, and adding more…

This location falls short of expectations in the Secrets chain of resorts. Secrets needs to establish a quality control group to over see each establishment is on par. They would find they all need to step up.
