We just spent a most enjoyable two weeks at The Fives Oceanfront in Puerto Morelos. Amazing service and super comfortable suite. Impeccably maintained property with accommodating staff who tend to your every need. Would highly recommend and we are already thinking about our next stay.

Pleasant property with huge, well appointed rooms and fabulous bathrooms! Easy walk into town to try different restaurants, bars and cafés and to shop (we did not choose the all inclusive option). A long, walkable beach with vendors who were not aggressive. Easy to get a massage on the beach and surprisingly terrific. The secret of this place if… Read more

The secret of this place if you like activities is Gustavo, a one-man band who teaches yoga, pilates, art classes making bracelets, wall-hanging and painted frames, leads bike trips...and much more! His friendliness and energy really transformed our stay. Read less

Excellent hotel with amazing staff and facilities that make you truly enjoy the beach vibes and relax. Eli from the reception team was always super helpful with his top recommendations to enjoy Puerto Morelos. The whole staff was friendly and happy to help.

This is indeed a lovely hotel located at the end of the main restaurant street, next to the jungle. So apart from occasional dog barking and some noise in the morning from delivery trucks, the location is very quiet and at an appropriate distance from the town center’s restaurants and shops. The city of Puerto Morelos is unfortunately flooded with tourists from the US, and this hotel is also heavily dominated by American guests. Apart from that everything is perfect: The beach with powder sand, the lukewarm ocean, the view, the spacious room with balcony, the tasteful decor, the training facilities, the helpful staff, the activities/entertainment and finally the breakfast - not a buffet, but a menu with numerous healthy and tasty choices (except the boring and dry bread, which should be homemade and healthier). Image of the Tripadvisor rating A very disappointing experience

So many things went wrong with our stay. -the room we booked (the rooftop) nearly a year before our stay had been “reclassified” and was double booked so we were put in another room. No one seemed to care or apologized. They did compost food and beverage but it didn’t make up for not having the room we thought we were getting. -there were… Read more
So many things went wrong with our stay. -the room we booked (the rooftop) nearly a year before our stay had been “reclassified” and was double booked so we were put in another room. No one seemed to care or apologized. They did compost food and beverage but it didn’t make up for not having the room we thought we were getting. -there were only two restaurants even though they advertise 3, and the service was extremely slow in the Marley restaurant. We also ordered room service one night and the food was cold after waiting an hour for it. -The food overall was really good, though, which is part of the reason I’m giving the hotel any stars. -there were chairs on the beach that were broken and never enough chairs for guests so people would argue over them and it was so unpleasant. -there were paint chips on the balcony of one of our rooms one day. -the cleaning service for our rooms was excellent, though. Overall, a very disappointing stay and I would urge others to think twice before booking this hotel. Read less
