The hotel

Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is an adults-only, all-suite hotel, just 10 minutes north of Cancun. Where is it

On a lovely white sand beach in the resort of Playa Mujeres. Just a 10-minute drive north from Downtown Cancun in an exclusive gated community, located inside a championship 18-hole Playa Mujeres Golf Course, designed by golf legend Greg Norman. Transfer time from airport: 35 minutes.

The entertainment team was far and above better than anywhere I have ever been Carlitos, Memo, and Bryan all go above and beyond all expectations. I will certainly be back and hope to visit with them all again. The food and rooms were also great, highly recommend Bordeaux!

Poor drainage had 1" of water at our entrance every time it rained. (We we're on the third floor) Pushy sales people for time share. Said 90min ended up being gone 3hrs. Spa is overpriced. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and it was noted when the room was booked. But nothing special was done. Not that it had to be but other places offered… Read more

The hotel and staff were great. Easy check in and check out. Food was fantastic at every restaurant we ate at. Golf carts were always around and the hotel was easy to navigate. Only negative comment would be that they need more entertainment around the pool.

I found the adults crowd more to my appeal and found myself repeatedly going back to the Himitsu restaurant. Sushi rolls with cream cheese are my favorite but it was Christobal that I recommend you seek out for service. Christobal is passionate about providing #1 service. At the same time, he gives credit to the chefs who made the many Sushi rolls that kept me coming back! Additionally, Christobal recommended that I try the Seschuan shrimp main dish. It was delicious! Thank you Himitsu! I had a fantastic experience visiting your restaurant multiple times during my stay at Dreams - 6409. Hyatt has some of the best employees and here's a few: Ivette (Dreams), Jesus and Luis at the pool bar (Dreams), and Christobal (Secrets Himitsu). Hyatt is very lucky to have these professionals! These Mexican beaches are great. It was safe, the food was good. Unfortunately the weather was a little cool for us, 22 or 23C & cloudy or rainy. It was a nice week away. It's isolated and tricky to leave. It's good it's closing for an upgrade. It's still nice, but you can tell it's time for improvements.
