I choose the deluxe rooms which were extremely nice, roomy and spacious. The best part of my stay was the entertainment at the resort, Tash is such a sweet spirit and very talented. Her support team Kimron, Cheeky, Shaq, Ayesha, Lettuce, DJ Dig, Ace, Watson, Razor Sharp and Barbie were also amazing. They were all very engaging not to mention entertaining and kept a smile on our faces. The lady at the jerk chicken hut was all smiles every time I went for chicken. Valery(ie) not sure how he spells his name, also provided service with a smile. You can’t go wrong at the Alexandra. Read less

Our first visit to Providenciales We visited The Alexandra with two other couples in early December. This was a smaller all inclusive, but well-kept property with a very friendly staff. We booked a week for my birthday thru Costco and were not disappointed (also included airport transfers). Many thanks to the front desk for the upgrade! A one bedroom with a partial ocean view on the 4th floor of the Marilyn building plus the chocolate dipped strawberries, champagne and birthday card! This building was perfectly situated to the sister-resort shuttle, the pool, the restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. This one bedroom had a full kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining tables, 2 flat screen TV’s, a living room, king bed, full bath with shower, tub and dual sinks as well as a half bath and washer & dryer and plenty of storage. Also on the balcony, two loungers. A perfect room for the two of us. The beach is beautiful on this Grace Bay property! Unfortunately, the week we visited the weather was not the best with wind and some off and on light rain. We made the most of it though, especially the couple of days where the sun did shine. There are bikes one can borrow to ride into town etc. - there just aren’t enough of them that are well kept -so many were not usable. There is some form of nightly entertainment on the main deck which was nice too. The entertainment team did a good job. We also loved the beach area at the sister resort, Blue Haven, as well as the amenities and the much different vibe. Food & Drinks: Black Rock and Truck Stop had great food. The Caribbean night outdoor buffet was also good. (The restaurant beach bar at Blue Haven was also good – loved their shrimp tacos!) Drinks were good. We loved the Beach Swing Bar and Farhrar took excellent care of us. The Asu restaurant for breakfast was good and plenty of food choices including an omelet bar, although we found the food in the chaffing dishes could’ve been warmer. Because that restaurant can get crowded and loud, we would take our plates and go eat outside under cover at the Black Rock restaurant dining area overlooking beautiful Grace Bay. Spa: I’d like to give a shout out to the Jamaican massage therapist that did my massage. I think her name was Verona (or something like that –sorry I didn’t write her name down). She was great! She told me she has worked there for 16 years. She was very sweet and also runs a very clean spa. Photographer: Natalie – thanks for all the photos you took and the laughs we shared! A few other things: Rooms do not have any phone charging stations or strips to plug into. It would be great to have one in the bedroom on the end table or dresser. Our stainless steel frig was covered in hand prints. Also, room 4408 has a large crack on the wall next to the kitchen window (being recently remodeled this should’ve been addressed). Families with small children should be on a lower floor! We had someone above us with small kids running in the room from 3am-6am for 2 days. Talked to the manager & front desk to address the issue. They did quiet down in the middle of the night, but come 6 am they were running again our last 2 nights. Frustrating that parents don’t control their kids! Also the free water sports (Hobie Cat and trampoline) were out of order. The first day they said they’d be available the next day, then someone told us they’ve been broken for a long time. Overall a good resort and we felt safe here! Thanks! Read less

The water was clear and a delight in which to swim! Our room was lovely and had a great view! The individuals who perform housekeeping are among the best I have ever seen at a hotel! Sharon was especially good. The room was cleaned with meticulous detail every day! The food at the resort was delicious! We especially enjoyed the jerk chicken meals near the beach that Sylvie created each day. Delicious! Our favorite restaurant was the Black Rock. The steaks there were outstanding! All staff were so friendly and seemed so happy to make our stay the best it could be! The night we arrived, we ate at Asu Restaurant, and I casually mentioned to our server, Marjorie, that it was my husband's birthday. Toward the end of our meal, I saw her come in the front door, holding a plate with a big smile on her face. Then, the wait staff all came over with a delicious Birthday dessert for him with a candle. She actually went over to one of the other restaurants to have the special plate made for him! Service over and above!! We were so touched! In all, our experience at Alexandra Resort was wonderful and we will definitely be back! Read less

Beautiful fun resort with friendly staff! The beach is stunning and they have great dining options for the whole family. Love that you can access two resorts as well! Our room had an incredible view and a nice private patio on the end on the third floor.

Highly recommend this resort. The chef, Auden (Fire), is phenomenal - truly made our stay even better than ever with his warmth, care, and exceptionally delicious food!! Special thank you as well to Sammi, Sandra, Charline, Forty, Sudion, and Marycryss for their warm hospitality and friendly care. Feels like staying with family. Slight improvements could be made with mosquito control, and having more fish choices at the Fish Deck restaurant (i.e., coconut shrimp, snapper, grouper, etc.). Read less
