I stayed at this property 17 years ago for work, then again 5 years, and 8 years after. It was an elegant and classy hotel. It now is an aging property with terrible service. The hotel has done absolutely no upkeep or remodeling of the rooms. Not even painting the walls.

Don’t let the lure of the lobby fool you! Our room walls were dirty and you could see patch marks. The shower grout was moldy all throughout. I asked to speak to a manager many times with no response. The live band at the lotus cafe was so loud I couldn’t hear the person next to me. Food quality has also gone down. I attempted to contact concierge one month prior to our trip with no word back even after countless follow ups. The JW Sahar is outstanding! Their concierge tired many times to put me in touch with the JW Juhu team with no luck himself. I’m disappointed as we were looking for a relaxing stay and the service you typically expect at a Mumbai 5 star hotel.
