Prime location for business travellers, in the heart of what we’d describe as Mumbai’s version of Canary Wharf, the Sofitel is a luxury hotel with excellent facilities that shows off a mix of French and Indian culture in the design. If you are working throughout the day, you couldn’t wish for a more relaxing hotel to come back to – the spa is on hand for a massage to rewind, or the beauty salon for a pamper. There are even bath salts in the room and a BOSE sound system so you can have an evening soak to your own soundtrack. The standout feature of the hotel is the culinary options, with 5 bars and restaurants to choose from and a range of tastes to try. Jyran offers glorious tandoori tastes in a colourful restaurant, before you retire to the bar with it’s impressive wine tower. Upgrading to a club room or suite will get you access to the Executive lounge with it’s complimentary afternoon tea and cocktail hours, a lovely added bonus to complete your stay.

We've been to a few other 5 star Hotels in the area on our past trips to Mumbai, but so far we've had the best experience with Sofitel. The staff here makes you feel welcome and at home. A special shout out to Janvi and Vishal at the Pondicherry Cafe for taking good care of us.
