Walking into the lobby felt like entering a museum… if museums had chandeliers that sparkle like diamonds and staff who greet you like family. The architecture is a wild mix of Indo-Saracenic, Victorian, and Art Deco styles—ornate domes, stained glass, and marble floors But what stuck with me wasn’t just the beauty—it was the warmth.

Excellent on the whole, Loya good restaurant, Great ambience, wonderful sea facing room, Just the right amount of staff attention not OTT, not too intrusive. Good heritage walk with Nwton. However Breakfast at Sea Lounge was good but not exceptional.

Excellent stay as previously in 2019. Room was lovely and quiet. Food was delicious as always at Golden Dragon and it was awesome to be served by Clinton who picked the perfect food choices for us! Thank you to the staff at Laundry as they professionally washed and dry cleaned everything in a timely manner even with last minute requests especially the tailor sir who expertly altered 2 pairs a pants for my husband on a Saturday!! What Service!!. We enjoyed 2 outstanding desserts at Loya- the Falooda and the Jalebi with 3 hot milks. WOW!! Can't wait to come back and try the full menu!. Thank you Dipak for putting up with our craziness and making the best cocktails!! And most of all, thak you to Team @Aquarius and Hansika!! We reached Friday after a long delay and was tired. She was very calm even with my crankiness and found me a quiet table and then let me change 3 times for various reasons!! She, Vicky and Vaibhav then took wonderful care of by getting the perfect drinks, enough ice, patiently explaining the barbecue and encouraging us to try it!BEST LOBSTER EVER!! and she was kind of enough of us to get daal and roti to complete our meal. To me, this is what service is about. She recognized i was tired and stressed and quickly realized what I needed and truly helped me calm down and relax. We ended up having the best night thanks to her and her team!! We were leaving and she brought us a piece of chocolate cake as a farewell- again so thoughtful.. unbelievable and a must visit for an indian. Although we witnessed so many foreigners visiting and having a peaceful stay, which means the palace is just the place to be in and needs no more words to explain. Please experience the stay and feel divine!!!

The hotel is a hotel with history and is over 120 years old.They have done amazing in making such a old palace into a luxury hotel.I over the years I have stayed in the palace wing with sea view rooms and it is truly outstanding.It also has a next level Chinese restaurant called Golden Dragon
