The hotel

If you want to combine relaxation with marine sports in abundance, you’ve come to the right place! The Grand Mirage boasts more aqua-activities than any other resort in Bali with everything from kayaking to Sea Walker. There’s also all manner of land sports available or perhaps you just want to take it easy, relaxing on the beach or pampering yourself with a treatment at the Thalasso Spa in one of the 16 treatment rooms. Not forgetting the kids, for the older children there's a packed games room with everything from games consoles to table tennis and Bamboo Kids' Club is a wonderful place for the younger ones; we all know happy children equal happy parents! At night, after a fun filled and lively day, why not relax in one of the restaurants before enjoying a nightcap in the bar.

Nestled in over an acre of landscaped gardens, on the tip of Nusa Dua Beach, in the serene district of Tanjung Benoa. Transfer time from Denpasar Airport: 20 minutes.

380 rooms and suites. All with air-conditioning, cable TV with in-house film, telephone, complimentary WiFi access, tea/coffee maker, mini-bar (re-stocked daily with beers, soft drinks and bottled water), safe, iron and board, hairdryer. Deluxe Garden Rooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child (rollaway bed available for 3rd person).

All Inclusive of: unlimited dishes and non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks in 8 restaurants and 3 bars. Daily replenished mini-bar. Afternoon tea. Unlimited dishes selected from the room service menu. Unlimited motorised water sports, cultural and sport activities. Vouchers for motorised weer sport (sea-walker, jet ski, speed boat and banana boat. Daily themed buffet dinner with show. laundry (two items per adult per day). Unlimited use of the gym, karaoke lounge, games room and mahjong lounge. Access to the indoor and outdoor playground. Ocean View Suites with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and 3 children.

My husband, two kids and I stayed here for 6 nights, all inclusive package, absolutely loved this hotel! All the staff are super friendly especially the concierge staff! I thought it would be easiest for me to separate this review into pros and cons. We won’t return to this resort. We feel there are much better options around in this price bracket. Pros: - view from adults only pool was lovely - has a great splash park for kids. Definitely run down and needs a paint job and some fixing, but still lots of fun. - Reception was very easy to deal with via WhatsApp. - The concierge team was amazing and very helpful. - Rooms were very clean. - Theme buffet nights were great. - The spa was very expensive but lovely. Cons: - air con in room does not go below 22 degrees, even though you can drop it to 18 on the in room device. This was confirmed to me by reception. It was hot and I basically didn’t sleep for the 6 nights we were there! - The pools are hot. The adults only pool registered at 34 degrees on my dive computer every day. I have never been in a pool this hot in Bali. - Service was terrible!! Really really terrible. I was quite shocked. This was my main issue after the aircon. - Some of the service staff couldn’t understand me even requesting a coffee. A lot appeared to be new staff - There is a gap in food service between breakfast and 11am. This was not easy with a toddler. - Only hot coffees served for breakfast. it is not possible to order a cold coffee. - Restaurant was very very hot. Especially the middle part. They removed chairs from the outer parts for some weird reason forcing people to sit in the middle part. Way to hot to enjoy breakfast in (and we are from North Queensland so used to the heat) Read less

The staff are so lovely and polite and they are always doing something from gardening, cleaning everything or attending our needs. Plenty of great food choices and activities for all. Hard to single people out but special thanks to Toni and Widdy at the bar. Anyone giving this resort less than 5 stars should get a life 😁. Some local shops right out front if you should need anything and about 5K from the Bali Collection shops. Read less

First all the positives: - Great experience from arrival to departure, the facilites were very clean, the staff was always working hard to maintain the facilities looking great for the guests, shout out to Rahmad for the extremely pleasant and seamless experience during airport pickup and drop off. - Food options for breakfast buffet were great at the Grand Cafe. - Pools were great and activities were very enjoyable for our family. - Staff were very friendly and accommodating, even providing car transport from the Family Paradise to the Main section on rainy days. - Our room was always cleaned and serviced and there were bottles of spring water replenished every day, which was a great touch. Only one negative: - The shower in our room did not allow us to select between the wall shower head and the hand held, which made things a little messy when we showered since both shower heads were going simultaneously. Thank you for the great experience, my family and I will be happy to stay at the resort again for future Bali travels. Read less

Went to visit hotel today with our son who had recently finished a stay with Grand Mirage Resort, we sat on chairs by the ocean and looked to order drinks, only to be told by staff that we were not welcome to sit within the grounds, even if we were paying customers. We were told we were only allowed to sit at the bar only. First impression of the Resort is not welcoming or inviting by staff. To send two male staff members to inform my wife we need to leave or sit at the bar is extremely poor customer service and standover tactics are not welcome. I will not be recommending staying here or visiting to all my family, friends and business partners who are local and international. We could not even have pay to sit, very narrow minded approach to customer service. Disgusted. Read less
