This hotel blends contemporary design with traditional Balinese architecture. Design-led and very stylish, the Alila Ubud is a secluded hillside retreat renowned for its dramatic infinity pool with amazing views, which appears to float over the valley below. Its lush gardens, secluded courtyards and terraces create a wonderfully intimate and peaceful atmosphere. The Spa Alila nurtures body and mind, and sources many of its spa ingredients locally in the Balinese foothills, and with the therapists using ancient asian healing techniques and age-old beauty recipes you are sure to feel rejuvenated and refreshed after a visit. If you wish to get out and about there is a leisure concierge that will help you discover more about this fascinating area by trekking or cycling locally or organising cultural learning with visits to Balinese dancing events.

Alila Ubud is a hidden gem in the heart of monkey forest. Surrounded by jungle with awe inspiring views and an opportunity to watch monkeys in their natural habitat. Staff is even more friendly and helpful than the spectacular friendliness that is always experienced from Balinese people. Professional mixologists add to the experience

Wonderful staff in a serene location, but with a small hiccup.

We booked our stay at Alila Ubud using Hyatt points and credit card. Upon checking in, we requested an upgrade, which was initially declined due to availability. However, after an issue with the A/C in our original room, the upgrade became available. Ivan was exceptional and quickly resolved the situation, making our stay much more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, and Mrs. Widi was a lovely host.
One note: after check-in, we saw monkeys in the lobby attempting to grab belongings. It would have been helpful to be informed about them during check-in, as I’m quite afraid of monkeys, which made me a bit anxious.

Amazing!

We went there for our honeymoon and had the best time. The Resort is amazing and the service is excellent. The food was delicious as well. Everyone made sure that our stay was pleasant. I would recommend for anyone looking to have amazing and relaxing days.
After the chaos, noise and pollution of Kuta, the Alila Hotel is heaven.
