I came to Bali with my daughter who came to do a yoga teaching qualification in Ubud for almost a month . We both stayed at the Maya Resort for 10’days whereupon I left for home and she moved location . The hotel had been highly recommended to me and did not disappoint. There are a large range of facilities available- a beautiful yoga/ Pilates studio , gym , infinity pools for adults and a separate one for children - beautiful grounds to walk in and lots of organised activities. A shuttle bus is available throughout day to take guests into Ubud . The staff, without exception, are outstanding- their training must be so good ! Every single one of them , from maintenance workers to gardeners, to waiting staff and front of house were SO friendly and attentive - the best staff I’ve ever come across in any hotel . I particularly want to mention the lovely Dewi - a senior member of the waiting staff who always took the time to speak to me and ask about my daughter and family and was so interested- very grateful to her as I was a solo guest for much of my time there!
I would not hesitate to stay here again if I’m in Bali and would recommend unreservedly.
