City centre location, close to shopping, entertainment and dining destinations. Direct access from the hotel lobby to the MRT subway station. Transfer time for Singapore Airport: 25 minutes.

Comfortable, clean and well located hotel. Buffet breakfast is excellent and the hotel local advisor 'Mavis' is so helpful. She goes out of her way to help you plan your day and gives you tips about what to visit in the area and how to get about it.

Very extensive breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff. Quiet room with a good view. Very close to MRT, where you can reach all interesting spots in Singapore. Singapore is a very interesting and safe place although you always to watch out for ,,blind,, persons behind der phones.

This is a review of my family's third stay at Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway. Every year we always choose Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway for the following reason: Location, location, location! This is the the most vertically integrated hotel in Singapore. At their basement is the Somerset MRT Station along the convenient NS MRT line. Next to the MRT station is the 24 hours Don Don Donki Japanese superstore. Lots of good food in the immediate vicinity including the original Killiney Kopitiam, along Killiney Road that the hotel is adjacent to. Also the hotel sits on top of THREE giant malls, 313 Somerset, Orchard Gateway, and Orchard Central. Each with their restaurants and food courts. Across Orchard Road from the hotel is the heritage Emerald Hill neighborhood with their swanky restaurants and bars. Our personal reasons: (1) The Lounge is excellent with highly professional and personable staff. In particular, Wilfred went above and beyond making sure each visit to the Lounge is enjoyable and took care of my family. He is to be commended for his excellent service! (2) The Pool rivals Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and is a lot quieter. There isn't another rooftop infinity pool that can boast the quality of scenery as the one at Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway. It is not crowded like MBS and has an excellent rooftop bar staffed by very professional staff who makes excellent cocktails. We WILL BE BACK at Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway. I stayed 2 nights at JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La with my spouse to celebrating her birthday. I want to thank everyone for giving her the surprise birthday cake and chocolates that was very sweet and thoughtful and made her feel special. Upon arrival, we were very impressed by the exceptional service from the front desk staff named: Ira. Ms Ira has made us feel welcome and answered all our inquiries. She greeted us with her sweet smiley face and checking-in our room was swiftly. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during our stay. The same goes to the other two front desk staffs named: Ms Mei Xian and Ms Ying. Both were also friendly and smiley. All the service team members at the front desk have done a very fantastic job! They were all very attentive and helpful. Well done! I would certainly love to give them more than 5 stars review here. Followed by the restaurant Makan@Jen at 10th floor and, swimming pool, gym, club lounge at 19th floor where the view from the top is unbeatable, with a lovely ambience that is perfectly suited for unwinding. Brilliant hotel. We stayed for 4 nights here at JEN and it was delightful. We had our room upgraded from the get-go so we had a beautiful city-view which was great. The room itself was really nice too. The breakfast was superb and the rooftop pool with its gorgeous rooftop view is great as well. We would 100% stay again.
