Booking a non smoking room in a 5star rated hotel would entail staying in a room with no provision for open windows and breathing recycled air indoors. Surprised to see that our room had an attached balcony overlooking a swimming pool. We could dry our swimwear and have a quiet smoke or two.

We stayed for 2 weeks for my wife's special birthday. The hotel and grounds were beautifully kept. We really enjoyed the beach and pool bar with lovely sea views. What a beautiful resort! We did change rooms- for us having 2 kids, 9 and 7, the family suite was two small and the stairs are very steep. So we upgraded to an ocean wing family suite after 2 days and it was perfect.

The hotel itself is stunning as is the food. For a family it’s a perfect location. In the main drag, but not too close to the craziness of chaweng.

A very pleasant hotel with very friendly staff. All in all, no real complaints apart from the size of the room. Beds were amazingly comfortable, breakfast was superb and the pool facilities and beachfront location were great!
