The hotel

The gorgeous gardens and pools at Krabi La Playa Resort provide a great getaway, offering up endless hours of relaxation. One of the resort’s swimming pool is pretty traditional, a series of interconnecting pools accompanied by sunbeds, poolside dining, and swim-up bar with the other ‘Emerald Pool’ is something a bit different. Both stretch right up to some of the hotel’s renovated rooms and suites, allowing guests to step right into the water from their terrace. The two acre gardens are just as inviting, with their own bar and seating spots. And, if that’s not quite enough space to relax, you could always head to the sands of Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara beaches, 150 meters away, with shopping, dining and nightlife nearby.

Deluxe Pool Access with Jacuzzi Rooms are located within the existing building of the resort and and have a shower only in the bathroom. Rooms have their own private balcony with direct access to the swimming pool where the private Jacuzzi is located.

Family Rooms are often located in the newer building of the resort and have a direct view of the swimming pool. Rooms have 2 bedrooms, a living room, an iPod docking station, a coffee machine, a bathtub (in addition to the shower), and bathrobe and slippers.

A wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the grounds were pleasant. The pool (and swim up bar) was a highlight, and the restaurant is really good. We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended.

The hotel “superior” room was not habitable. The sheets were stained and there was mould all through the bathroom. We showed the front office staff and was told we were to be refunded and this is yet to happen. I would beware booking at this resort.

Me and my daughter stayed at this most delightful Boutique hotel for our annual father daughter catch-up. We had the most relaxing time as the hotel has mastered that fine point of being there to sort out any little matter but at the same time giving you privacy to totally relax. The lady on reception Miss Katie runs the hotel with a professionalism and calmness that is just what is required when on vacation. The rooms were of a high standard with the most comfortable beds I have known outside of mine. Breakfast was a delight with a wide choice of food available from an air conditioned service area and all the bakery is actually made on the premises by their own baker. There is three different pool areas to chose from and each has its own vibe. All in all a fantastic hotel that you truly feel relaxed to stay at. I will be back that’s for sure. Read less
