With just 89 rooms this is a beautifully intimate hotel, but it still gives you a host of room types to choose from, a range of activities to enjoy, and each access to both the centre of Sarasota and beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. So basically, you can have a bit of everything - no matter what you're after! Set in the arts district, you'll find the hotel a bit of an urban oasis. When you're enjoying food, drinks, games and a splash on the pool deck, you'd forget that you're in the heart of the city. But be sure to make use of the complimentary bicycles and explore the restaurants, art galleries, bars and shops that Sarasota has to offer. And it's definitely worth a trip to Lido Beach too, it's less than 10 minutes away so you can enjoy the unspoilt sand and glorious views across the ocean. Back at the hotel the Wink Wink Modern Lounge and Pool Bar are great places to enjoy a bite to eat, relax with a board game, or enjoy a nightcap - and the weekend brunch is a must if you're around too!

We were in Sarasota more for taking care of business than pleasure, but we felt very comfortable in our long term stays. Wink Wink is the coolest Bar/Rest. right on premises. Food is very good and creative. We eat there several times and loved it all. The hotel has a cool retro vibe. Shout out the valets- very professional

Decent stay

A decent place to stay that is stylish and comfortable. One notch below excellent because the lobby and especially the elevators smelled like a dog kennel - not in a nice way. Hotel appears pet friendly, and we are pet lovers, but the unwelcomed odor hit us as soon as we walked in. Once on our floor and int he room it was fine -- the elevator…

A decent place to stay that is stylish and comfortable. One notch below excellent because the lobby and especially the elevators smelled like a dog kennel - not in a nice way. Hotel appears pet friendly, and we are pet lovers, but the unwelcomed odor hit us as soon as we walked in. Once on our floor and int he room it was fine -- the elevator was the worst of it.
Otherwise, the staff was friendly, housekeeping did a great job. Valet parking is a rip off at $38 with tax. but I was in a rush so I went for it. "Resort fee" is another rip off as I was there for meetings and did nothing but shower and sleep. But the room rate was reasonable. They could use a quick serve grab and go coffee and breakfast right by the lobby door for those of us in a rush.
Was in a corner king (no balcony, even though the app said I was assigned a king balcony). The room was very quiet -- no street or hallway noise so we slept fine. Air con also worked great. Window shade was broken which was annoying.
For this price point I'd stay here again but with the bogus resort and parking fee, anything higher would not be worth it in my opinion.

Anniversary Staycation with Excellent Service!

Great Anniversary Staycation!! Marina at the Front Desk went out of her way to make sure it was a wonderful experience. Stayed in a 5th Floor suite. Everything was clean, quiet and comfortable. Pool was great -- and enjoyed to cool plunge -- refreshing on a hot summer day. Great service, great style, and great value.
STAY AWAY. THIS IS A MOTEL.

This is motel at best. Not a modern or well appointed hotel or lobby. Service was terrible. Had constant power failures for the entire stay. Slept in a 90 degree room. What ever price you agree and pay for. Expect the ticky tack add on charges. Resort fee added per day Resort ? You must be kidding. Manager has still not responded to a call…

Great place to stay in downtown

The staff was friendly and helpful and accommodated my early check in. They invited me to a pool party that night and warned that it might be noisy. However, my room (#422) was on the corner away from the pool, and I didn't hear a thing. It was next to the elevator, but I heard no noise from that or from guests in the hallway. I enjoyed the mid 20th century accents of the hotel decor. On my second morning I discovered that there was only decaf and tea in the coffee maker selection, but after a call to the front desk, regular coffee pods were quickly delivered to my room. The bathroom was spacious and spotless, as was the bedroom, but I wish I could have made the shower a bit hotter.
