The hotel

Looking to do your Miami vacation in style? Look no further. The meticulously designed Miami Beach EDITION offers beachfront luxury combined with the stylish, cool vibes that scream Miami. With a range of rooms available, it's the bungalows that really stick out to us - they offer that bit more room and privacy in the resort, and you can even upgrade to one with a private plunge pool on your terrace if you fancy. Now when it comes to dining, you have to experience the innovative dishes in the Matador Room, designed by Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. But don't worry, there's plenty of casual options too, and you can even enjoy food and drinks from Tropicale on the comfort of your sun lounger. Now Miami isn't short of bars and entertainment, but if you're sticking close to home, take a trip down to the BASEMENT, where you can bowl, drink and even ice-skate your night away.

Check in process ,pool area service, beach club staff, breakfast at the market, dinner at Matador restaurant , Spa services, check out were all flawless. Staff was very attentive everywhere. Hotel manager Christopher and Assistant front office manager Othon were always there to make our stay fun and comfortable.Ida at the Spa deserves a special mention also. We would recommend staying at this property without any reservations. Read less

I’ve been spending time at the EDITION ever since it opened in 2015. Miami mostly has trendy spots that open, enjoy their 15 minutes of fame, then their curtain closes. I’ve been spending time at the EDITION ever since it opened in 2015. Miami mostly has trendy spots that open, enjoy their 15 minutes of fame, then their curtain closes. The EDITION, meanwhile, had the rare formula to become an iconic mainstay on Miami Beach. All of the kinks and wrinkles ironed out from its early years, now is the time to stay here, if it wasn’t before. Legendary service from the likes of Michaella and KRod from front office and Eva from events elevate the experience tenfold. My wife and I had the most fabulous time celebrating our wedding here. We can’t wait to go back. Read less

I’ve been staying in Miami Beach hotels for 30 years. You have to be as foolish as I, if you book this 2 star hotel that is pretending to be a cheese ball version of The Delano. I’ve been staying in Miami Beach hotels for 30 years. You have to be as foolish as I, if you book this 2 star hotel that is pretending to be a cheese ball version of The Delano. The Staff has the 90s nightclub attitude to match. This is a Bonvoy hotel in name only as I’m Titanium for life, and when I asked for a nice room, they had the nerve to ask to up charge me from 300-1200 per day.. What? The hotel was wide open. But I got banished to the infamous 4th floor with a beautiful view of garbage, dead pigeons and a drain pipe. BTW I requested they remove the dead bird 3x on my first day and it took 4 days, The room is an AC/Springhill type with all the walls that slide but with less functionality. Think a Fairfield with less. They put out coffee in the morning that’s cold by 8:30 but they call this complimentary breakfast. Your exorbitant resort fee gives you the right to: Go to the pool or beach. At the pool I was greeted by a dog doing #2 by the diving board thing. At the beach we sat and watched the staff flirt with each other and ignore the guests. More dogs doing their thing btw. Bikes, which are mysteriously always being used , and a creepy underground skating rink. All the water stations are disgustingly dirty with used cups and sunscreen and sand. And they’re usually empty by 2p Spa? Please It’s nothing. A janky steam room and a dirty locker room and wait for it: They want 60.00 a day to use it. Hahaha The food here is so incredibly expensive and mediocre their own concierge will tell u to avoid it. Their signature restaurant was always empty. Matador. Look at reviews on that gem??!! Breakfast is avg for 100.00 mind u. Location. Mid Beach. You’re not close to anything. BTW they don’t rake here. Sea debris everywhere. Sat on hold unanswered for guest services when I needed something. I asked a question about the cold coffee one morning and I was told I should wake up earlier…. My review is not unique. The Bonvoy review site is filled with 1 stars like mine. Just like here on Trip This is my second stay at an “Edition.” Stayed at the Hollywood property and the attitude is the same. They make us feel like we’re intruders at a party we weren’t invited to. I guess Marriott created this brand to make me realize Courtyards were ok. Frequent travelers trust the Travel Snob. If you want 5 star service and accountability, abandon Bonvoy for AMEX Platinum Fine Resorts program. Read less

I’ve stayed at the Edition Hotel Miami Beach a couple of times, and it continues to impress. The service throughout the property is excellent, and the location is unbeatable, with easy access to the beach just steps away. The food is a highlight—delicious options are available both at the marketplace and the restaurant. Whether it’s a quick bite or a full meal, the quality consistently stands out. The cocktails are fantastic too, adding to the overall experience. While I love spending time on the beach, the service there can be a bit spotty. The servers aren’t always as attentive as I’d expect, which is a small drawback in an otherwise stellar stay. Overall, the Edition Hotel Miami Beach remains a top choice for its luxury, dining, and perfect beachfront location. Read less
