Take yourself just one or two blocks away from the hustle and bustle of South Beach, and you'll stumble across this hidden gem! You're still right in the heart of everything Miami has to offer - restaurants, bars and shops galore - but when you're chilling with a cocktail by the Art Deco style pool here, you'll feel completely chilled at the same time. If you're more of a beach person than the pool, hop aboard the The Plymobile and they'll take you straight to the beach hut where you can grab some towels and a lounge chair, and soak up the rays from the sand. It's not all rest though - try out a bit of kayaking or paddle boarding, or simply enjoy a good old game of connect 4 with your pals. You've surely heard of the famous Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill in New York - well now you can get your sashimi fix right here in Miami, and right here at this hotel! The high ceilings of the rooms give an airy, spacious feel. If you're travelling as a couple, we'd recommend the One Bedroom Terrace Suite so you enjoy a romantic soak in the bath tub, right in your own bedroom!

I should have read other reviews about this hotel before booking through Virgin. I can’t make up my mind if they are just slap dash or actually carrying out fraudulent activity. I mistakenly asked for an upgrade as our originally booked room was too small for a week’s stay. The girl who we spoke to said she would call a manager and agreed for a weeks upgrade at £1,100 dollars. Do not trust these people because they do not care about customers. I made the error to accept their word for it. When we left we were again told us the bill would follow. This was my second error. It took until the 1st of October for me to receive an Invoice. We stayed at the end of August. When it came it was totally wrong. I have tried to query the bill but I’m getting nowhere just denials. I already have a complaint logged with Virgin due to how we have been treated. There are some great establishments in Miami where service is great. I would advise do not book here unless you want to be overcharged. Just read all the other reviews. There is something not good about this place. Go elsewhere.

Great hotel and location. Great food, clean and was top notch. The pool bartender Walter was best in class with amazing service. He made our stay very enjoyable and highly recommend. See you next year Walter! We will definitely be repeat patrons with how well we were treated.

My husband and I loved most aspects of our stay, which was a fairly last minute booking for just one night.
There is a lovely historic vibe, the room was comfortable, clean and efficiently designed-- ok, small-- but that was clear when booking and fit us just fine. We slept great. It is a close walk to the beach, an off-site parking option, and the staff was friendly-- they appeared busy, perhaps slightly understaffed at the time. We had a small issue with an incorrect charge that should have been covered in the pre-paid service fee. That was eventually resolved. I would stay there again with these expectations.

Stayed here w wife and friends for a night before leaving on a cruise. IDEAL location, great staff, loved it. Nuff said. Super laid back and chill place, would highly recommended to anyone looking for a low key, spacious, and clean place in South Beach w the ability to walk to numerous spots.
