Check in is 4pm. We have been waiting 2.5 hours for our room. Nobody to help with bags. Groceries we bought going bad. No shuttles to park. If we ever do get a room I’ll see if it was worth spending the night camped on their bench waiting for a room.

For our two day stay in Orlando, my husband booked a one bedroom suite with a sofa pull-out bed at the Sheraton. This cost $127 a night, so we were happy with the price, which was a bargain - we thought. Upon entry of the resort, we had high hopes, it has a beautiful exterior, and lovely decorations. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Those were the only highlights of our stay. We went to our room and were instantly hit with a musty smell of damp. It seemed that the room had not been opened for a long time. Other than that, the room seemed okay and we settled down for the night. My daughters were sleeping on the pullout bed, and when we searched for bedding, we found ripped sheets and a singular thin blanket. They were cold, so we called reception and asked for another blanket and told this would be a 30 minute wait. That was fine, we said, and once the blanket arrived, all went to sleep. At midnight we were woken up by sound that felt like there were people in our room. It was then we discovered that our room had been designed to be conjoined with the one next door, meaning: absolutely no soundproofing. This made zero sense, as the Sheraton resort is absolutely massive, and our section seemed pretty quiet, but somehow we’d been placed in an absolutely unsuitable room - with neighbours. We asked the people next door if they could be a bit quieter, and thankfully they were friendly, so we went back to sleep. We came back to our room the next day after spending the whole day out to find that it had not been visited by cleaning, and was in the exact state we left it. This was surprising, as we thought the only reason we had been placed in conjoined rooms was for more ease in cleaning. It was when settling down to sleep that my eldest daughter discovered the sheets we had been delivered previously were stained, dirty with what can only be described as a cross between blood and fecal matter. Disgusted, but tired, we went to sleep. When checking out, I complained to reception, and was instantly deflected by being told that we were entitled to a free photo album. I would not recommend a stay at the Sheraton. It may be cheap, but not a bargain. The price was not worth two restless nights, it felt like we were staying in a hostel, not a hotel. Book a room with caution. Read less

Great accommodation in well appointed and maintained suites with all the facilities that you need for a great stay. Really friendly staff everywhere and cool pools and hot tubs. We felt secure and well looked after. It’s well positioned and close the shops outlets and attractions , no parking or resort fees too! Two small issues , the timeshare people here are unrelenting, firstly you are forced to collect a parking pass from them which is preceded by a hard sell for a tour which after 10 hour flight is unwelcome , these people also call you during your stay to pester further,it’s no problem to fob them off but their skin is thick and hearing is poor so you end up having to be pretty blunt. Secondly the bar food is pretty expensive and quantity and quality is not so good, but you can cook your own stuff so this isn’t a big problem.I think if they upped their game it would be more popular . Entertainment though is top quality with so much to do so you will have a great time, overall a great trip . Read less

Location wise there isn't a great deal around it and it was a bit out of the way but its easy to get ubers and the Iride bus was good for certain locations and a very decent cost. Really nice stay. Let me first say, that the hotel/resort is beautiful, clean, and friendly. They do have many extras: mini store (pricey), basketball/tennis court, multiple pools, grills, and mini restaurant in the property. Arrived there to be sent to the “Linx”, which is the sales intake reservation area. Now when booking this resort, I asked if I had to go through a sales meeting etc in order for me to take advantage of the solicited marketing I received in the mail. The reservation girl said “ No”, so I booked it. Anyways, I expressed at check in that I didn’t want to attend the meetings for a time share but she then told me that she would need to put me in a room that was in the far side of the resort ( the old rooms) but if I attend the meetings to just listen, they’ll give me $300 and a room in the “New” building. So I said, ok but really didn’t want to. I booked the meeting the day before we leave and my husband HAD to attend. They even put a hold on my card for $300 in case I didn’t attend the meeting. So up until our meeting, they ( sales rep) called and called (which I ignored) until we arrived. The front desk was shocked to see us there because they already charged my CC due to me not responding and thought I wasn’t coming. The sales rep was very nice and was very good at his sales pitch but what pissed me off is thus went on longer than the 90 MINUTES, time frame. I had park tickets to Disney and it was well into the afternoon so I was getting aggravated. So we decided to purchase because the shark was not letting go of his bite! Long story short: Got home, reviewed the papers we signed, found the CANCEL info and sent an email, wrote a letter to rescind our decision with both signatures within the 10 days, mailed it CERTIFIED and waited. Two weeks later, I got my $870 deposit back. Problem solved before we were doomed for life and stuck with this vacation deal. It wasn’t for us, but it is for some that do their homework. It could work for them, but not for me! Read less
