So we only live about three hours from Orlando and we've visited this area many times. For the past several years we have gotten passes to a different major theme park, so we've been to them all and we've stayed at all of the Embassy Suites in the area and we are currently HHonors Diamond Members. We were excited to find this brand new option. The hotel was very different than most Embassy Suites but it was very nice. The rooms were large, well appointed, and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were mostly all very nice and helpful. The reason for the two star review is due to what I would consider predatory and deceptive billing practices. We stayed here for three nights while we attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. On the night of the party, my 8 year old son was sick after drinking chocolate milk and threw up in bed. Part of it was on our own blanket that we had brought and the rest was on the hotels bedding. This was on the second night of our three night stay. I stripped the bed and cleaned the little guy up, and placed the bedding in a corner for housekeeping. A day and a half later when we checked out they had charged us $350 for a "Room Damage Fee". Like I said we've stayed in many hotels in this area with kids ages 0-10, and dealt with many spills and accidents and we've never been treated this way before. Keep in mind that this happened on the second night of a three night stay. They had a day and a half to send us a message to inform us or discuss this before we checked out, but they only managed to send us messages asking for a review of the stay. In the end it feels like they are much more concerned about this $350 than they are about losing a new frequent customer. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating This is a vacation Condo, not an Embassy Suites- should not be branded this way.

My negative review is based on the brand and feeling tricked on what I booked, I will write the positives below. My negative review is based on the brand and feeling tricked on what I booked, I will write the positives below. This is a Vacation Condo complex, I'm not sure why it is branded as an Embassy Suites and I can't understand why Hilton is letting them be an Embassy. Embassy Suites is a specific type of hotel - this is nothing like an Embassy Suites. There is a banner outside the door that says "Sales Office" like they are selling timeshares or used cars... that is tacky. When I checked in... I then had to walk outside and walk to a completely separate building to get to my room. And of course, that means a long walk outside in the morning to get to the breakfast as well. The room is nice, but all the rooms have balconies and the windows are not soundproof so I could hear guests partying out on their balconies until about 1:00 AM. On top of that.. they charge an expensive resort fee to use the fancy pool... I was traveling for business and do not need or want a fancy pool.... that's why I wanted an Embassy Suites cause it's great for business travel. The positives - the room is nice, it's like a vacation condo, not a hotel room but that means there is lots of space. The breakfast was also pretty good. Read less

Excellent accommodations but suffering from massive growing pains. This property has 2 five story buildings with 3 more under construction. Excellent accommodations but suffering from massive growing pains. This property has 2 five story buildings with 3 more under construction. If you don’t mind the construction site view then nothing but good for the rooms. They were very new and clean. Vending and ice machines were missing on the floor we stayed on. If you enjoy an evening drink there is a bar and evening gathering. The bar is devoid of anything above bottom shelf alcohol. Breakfast left us wanting for more. The preparation of the food was poor and much of the hot food was barely warm. My wife’s eggs were swimming in oil and the over easy became scrambled. On check in we did talk to the property manager to try and get a room facing away from the construction. Unfortunately there was nothing available that suited our group of four adults and two separate bedrooms. I believe he made an honest attempt and did discount our room. In the future I would seriously consider staying here as I feel the negatives are due to the new growing pains and the positives outweigh them. Read less
