496 rooms and Kids Suites on 6 floors with 5 lifts. All rooms have climate control, cable TV, WiFi, safe, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee/tea maker, iron and board and hairdryer. Standard rooms with 2 queen-size beds sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Kids Suite A has bunk beds sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Kids Suite B has 2 sets of bunk beds sleeping maximum 2 adults and 4 children.

Writing this review on behalf of my parents We visited the hotel in June for 3 weeks so recommend this hotel to them , during there stay had cockroaches in room also issues with hot water and cleaners not changing bedding over 10 night stay . I emailed hotel with no reply telling them while they were staying there , also included holiday inn guest relations who did email me back offering points for them but still no response from the hotel , nobody contacted them during the stay to offer any solutions. I have booked for summer 2025 but I am cancelling and going to look at other hotels after my parents were left disappointed. Also the shop was closed as they struggle to walk far, this was a big inconvenience. The hotel never responds to any emails sent and we regret recommending it to them!! My parents don’t like to complain but I felt due to the lack of response other people need to know. Read less

Rafael is the best bartender!! He knows how to make a great margarita from scratch. If you need a drink while visiting ask for him! He knows his way behind the bar!! We were visiting for work and he made our experience well worth the annoying delays we were experiencing

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista and had a great experience overall. We booked one of the kids' suites, which was perfect for our family. The room was spacious and well-designed, giving our daughter her own private space with a bunk bed, a TV, and a desk for her toys and clothes. It was ideal for her to relax after long days at the parks. The bed my partner and I shared was incredibly comfortable—like sinking into a cloud! The room was well-furnished, with everything we needed, including a microwave, fridge, coffee machine, safe, and hair dryer. The daily maid service was excellent, and we appreciated how tidy they kept the room; we made sure to tip them a few dollars each day. The lobby area was fine, though we were a little disappointed to find the convenience store had been removed and was being renovated into a second arcade area. Since we weren’t driving and relied on Uber, this created a bit of an inconvenience. A nearby 7-Eleven offered some basics but was quite expensive for what it was. Later in the trip, we discovered a Walgreens across the road, which had a much better selection and reasonable prices. It would have been helpful if the hotel had provided some guidance in the room about nearby stores and services, especially with the on-site store unavailable. The on-site Applebee's was a highlight of our stay. The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Plus, kids eat for free, which was a huge bonus for us! We ate there multiple times and were never disappointed. The pool area was nice, but there was one downside: many people congregated near the main lobby doors in the evenings, drinking and smoking. Walking through a cloud of cigarette smoke after a day at the parks wasn’t pleasant, and on some nights, there was loud music playing until around 10 PM. It didn’t ruin our stay, but it’s something to be aware of. For Disney visitors, the hotel’s proximity to the parks is fantastic. It’s just a short ride away, and they offer a free shuttle service. We used it a few times, but the limited return schedule made it less convenient, so we ended up using Uber instead, which worked out well for us. One of the things we really appreciated was the variety of nearby dining options. Many restaurants and fast food places are within walking distance, just a couple of minutes from the hotel. We especially loved Bahama Breeze—the decor and atmosphere inside are stunning, giving it a high-end feel. The food was incredible, and we felt it was very good value for the quality. For a simpler option, we also enjoyed some of the fast food places directly across the road. Wendy’s stood out for being excellent value for money and perfect for a quick meal. All in all, this is a clean, family-friendly hotel with great amenities and friendly staff. The room was perfect, and the price point is excellent for its location near Walt Disney World. We would consider staying here again, especially if the convenience store returns or there’s better information provided about local shopping options. Read less
