There are far too many facilities at this marvellous 1,500-acre resort to detail here. The swimming pool is the kind that has kids gasping with wonder - waterfalls, grottos, whirlpools and a 124-ft long water slide tower, as well as a new water jet splash zone and rock climbing areas for kids, creates an aqueous wonderland. On the lake, you can practice kayaking, canoeing, or just simply pedal away toward the sunset. There is even a white sand beach for those waiting to sit back and relax, and 45 holes of top golf, with a pitch 'n' putt for non-golfers to enjoy. There are some great restaurants and bars; the pool bar, On the Rock, is located by Lake Windsong, offering views of the lake and the pool, four 60" TVs, a full service bar and food service options. Leave everything behind to enjoy the happiest of hours under palm tree canopies and moon-drenched evening skies at Four Flamingos, a Richard Blais Florida Kitchen that provides an immersive dining and drinking experience reminiscent of a dreamy, tropical oasis. Be one of the first to enjoy their newest recreational features: New Water slide, Water Jet Splash zone, rock climbing for kids and the pool bar!

Clean hotel with excellent on site activities. One of the best hotel fitness centers I have seen. Very good dining options on site and some really good spots are just a short walk or UBER ride away. Quiet, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff.
Amazing resort, paradise on earth!

We were upgraded to a view facing the fireworks and got a small snack package and balloons for my daughter's birthday and it was beyond amazing! She was so happy that she drew the fireworks in her schoolbook, thank you! Our other kiddo also loved the fireworks from afar, esp since they're too young to like them up close and so late at night. The breakfast buffet was so delicious and our kids loved the donuts. The pools were so fun and they enjoyed it immensely. We wish we could've taken advantage of more of the property, like mini golf, movies at the pool, climbing wall, gym, etc. If there was anything that could've made the resort better, it may be to bring the club back :-) one can hope! Thank you for a spectacular experience for everyone!

What a disappointment Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress turned out to be. We arrived at 12:20 AM after a 12-hour flight and a 4-hour drive from Miami, completely drained, only to face a chaotic check-in experience. We had booked a VIP Suite for our family of four, but were given a small room with ONE BED. How does that make sense for four people?
After going back to reception, we were told the room was part of a connecting setup, but still, only one bed awaited us. When we called reception again, they said we could rent a bed for $35 or use the sofa bed. Am I seriously supposed to make the bed myself at this point? Eventually, a member of the security staff—bless them for trying—brought up a pillow and blanket (like that would help two kids). They did their best, but it’s clear this hotel leaves employees like them without the resources they need.
Over an hour later, they managed to find a rollaway bed. Meanwhile, I’m paying $52 for parking, premium room rates, and tips to staff, only to spend my night dealing with problems instead of resting. A luxury hotel? Far from it. The only silver lining was the effort made by the security staff, who at least tried in a situation that was completely unacceptable for a hotel of this reputation and price.

Easy check in to this hotel in the evening. They have a parrot in the lobby and there’s plenty of space for an evening cocktail or enjoying some time by the fire on the patio. They even have a market that sells a s’more’s kit.

Our room was clean and spacious. We faced the main entrance so views of the city. Plenty of things to do during the day on site. They have a mapped running trail, pitch and put, bikes, lake activities and 2 awesome pools. One pool is heated and it’s a smaller one. The river that connects the two cold pools goes through a cave. Their gym is the nicest hotel gym I’ve been too, still needs something and weird that you have to go outside to get there. There are two hot tubs and one does say for 18yr and older.
Golf course was pristine and there’s a good restaurant on site.
There is a self park and valet option. Self park is a WALK from the hotel so it makes Valet very appealing. They have shuttles to magic kingdom but they are very limited and I would opt for a rental.
