Room was fine and clean. Friendly staff. They do not offer a king size bed which I would have preferred. Walls were paper thin with loud banging randomly. Pool is nice but not deeper than 1 meter. Food court/cafeteria was somewhat overpriced even for hotel food in tourist area.

This hotel is a great option for those visiting Universal Studios Orlando. Located just across the street, it’s a quick 5-7 minutes away using their complimentary shuttle service. The slightly longer time is due to passing some traffic lights, but the location is incredibly convenient. The staff is friendly and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant experience. The room is categorized as a suite, featuring three queen beds—two in the living area and one in a separate bedroom with a door. The beds are soft, which may not be ideal for those with back pain, but they are comfortable after a long day. The food court offers reasonably priced options for a hotel near Universal, with the cheesecake standing out as a must-try treat. The hotel is also surrounded by restaurants, making dining easy. However, I’m giving this hotel 4 stars because the noise from adjacent rooms and upstairs can be heard clearly. The walls seem paper-thin, which might disturb light sleepers. Despite the noise issue, it’s a convenient and comfortable spot for resting and recharging after a busy day at the parks. Read less

Our stay at this hotel from December 17 to December 20 was convenient in terms of location, but the service left much to be desired. On December 19, we returned to our room at 7 PM, only to find that it had not been cleaned. The floors were still dirty, and the bed had not been made. I contacted the front desk, where the supervisor, Cynthia, informed me of the hotel’s "light service" protocol, which apparently does not include making the bed or cleaning the floors. Shockingly, she said they could not send anyone to address the issue until the following morning. I requested the housekeeping manager's contact information for follow-up, and the hotel manager, Juliana, eventually got involved. Juliana confirmed that the bed should have been made and asked if we had declined service, which we absolutely had not. In fact, it was clear that a housekeeping attendant had entered the room to replace towels and empty the garbage. Juliana also questioned whether we might have left something on the bed that prevented the housekeeping team from making it, which we assured her we had not. When we asked Juliana if we could be moved to another room, she refused, stating that our situation did not meet the requirements for a room change. Juliana then explained that this hotel, as part of the Universal Studio Resorts, is classified as a "value hotel," and the light service policy applies unless guests specifically request additional cleaning in advance. However, we were not informed about this policy at check-in, and it is not documented anywhere in the hotel. Despite the inconvenience caused by their lack of service, the hotel could only offer us fresh linen to make the bed ourselves, claiming that housekeeping staff are only available for emergencies—which this apparently did not qualify as. I am incredibly disappointed by this experience and the poor handling of the situation. I hope the Orlando Resort management will address these service gaps to ensure future guests are not met with the same level of disregard. Read less

We were very glad we did. This hotel was excellent. Clean, spacious rooms and our view of the beautiful pool was a beautiful reminder daily of our fun in the sun vacation while our home was covered in snow! Check in was easy, the Starbucks in the lobby though always busy, was great and the breakfast in the lobby restaurant Pier 8 was reasonably priced and delicious. Shuttle service to the Universal parks was quick and efficient and everyone working here seem to enjoy their jobs.. Highly recommended and we’ll be back! Read less
