The hotel

A sure family favourite, Disney's Pop Century celebrates fads of the 1950s through to the 90s. There's something for everyone here - you'll love the themed pools, complete with water jets, and you can dine in a relaxed fashion at the food court. Stay here just for the Skyliner! It’s the most magical way to travel to a park! Room prices are obviously at Disney levels so don’t expect luxury. Room contained a double bed and a Murphy bed which we just left down the entire stay. Both beds were comfortable. Room functional and clean with bare basic amenities. Spacious enough for 2 people but I… Read more

Absolutely fantastic!! Rooms bigger than I thought they would be, but immaculately clean. Perfect resort for skyliner to get to Hollywood studios and Epcot, and a fantastic pool area. Food a bit basic but does the job after a long day at the parks. Absolutely would stay again!

We are local pass holders, and staying on property was a treat for our Honeymoon. Overall the hotel was not "special", spotless and great paintjobs, but overall, exactly like any Hampton Inn. -Stay here for the convenience to Epcot and Animal Kingdom, quiet rooms and we loved the gondolas which were fast and easy to use. -Food court offerings were pretty good, definitely an omelet fan but limited variety on other foods. The lower cost hotels do not offer a traditional restaurant. -We expected to enjoy our time together in the room and venture out to the parks throughout our stay. The "occupied" door tag was out a majority of the time (there was not a "do not disturb" tag available). On the third day we had an insistent knock at the door from a polite staff member informing us that we had missed the regular house cleaning and that a Disney policy required entry to our room. I was polite but firm noting this was "not a good time". This was followed up by a visit from a manager who again insisted on getting in the room to "inspect the plumbing and architect". There is no "good time" to interrupt a honeymoon couple and after an at-door discussion of a minute or so the manager entered our room very briefly and then left. The relaxed, comfortable tone of our stay was changed, and we stayed in for our last night. Again, this is not a hotel for a honeymoon. The rooms are not special, there is not an on-property "better" restaurant, and I question the Disney policy of room entry. As a side note, if there were any concerns about security or our safety - sending a young woman manager alone to ENTER the room seems unwise and very unsafe. So mark our stay as "average" -- and not the special getaway we had hoped for. B&B married 11/13/2024 Read less

The resort was very nice and clean. The pool was great until I realized my skin felt very weird when I got in. The next day I realized my beautiful blue bathing suit was very light blue. In one swim, it completely dyed my bathing suit. I had to throw it away as it was disintegrating after a few days. I messaged the resort about it and they could have cared less. If it did that to my suit, what is it doing to our children’s bodies? My opinion is that it was a pool full of bleach! Read less

Slightly disapointed with Disney - booked back in Jan and specifically asked for a connecting room as we were with a family member who it was her first ever trip anywhere so we wanted to be close to her. Arrived after a very bumpy 9 hr flight to find they had allocated us rooms in different buildings let alone connecting rooms - we spoke to the cast members on the desk and showed them the paperwork. We had to stay in the room we had for that night but moved the next day to 7 rooms along the block. Pop is exactly what you get for the money. Bed was GREAT !! Clean Busy at times but the skyliner is amazing other than the rope drop times of the day, yes the line will move quickly but even so, you start your day off in a LINE. Had a few issues in the food court with staff not understanding that we wanted to use our Quick serve plane for our food and several times I received a invoice and that meant yet another trip to the cast members on check in desk to get it credited. Some of their English was not the best, same in the parks to be fair. We had a few hours some days by the pool to have some down time and that was great. All in all - I would probably save up a bit more and stay at the Caribbean beach resort next door ( stayed there 2 years ago ) as you get just that little bit more and its much quieter. Read less
