We last stayed here in 2018 I believe. We stayed twice because the first time, my daughter fell in the bathroom and dislocated her knee. That was a disaster. We spent the day at the ER and she had to wear a brace and crutches and be in a wheelchair for the rest of the trip. The manager called an ambulance and gave us vouchers for a cab, but we missed our Le Cellier ADR and you would think maybe they would give us a voucher to get some food, but we had to pick up some crappy Chinese food near the hospital. I had to ask for a refund of the dining credits we couldn't use that day. Considering that we could have sued, you would think they would be nicer. Still, we love the hotel. Everything is convenient and the atmosphere is relaxing. We loved the pool.We went back 6 months later so that my daughter could have a good stay there and we would go again.

I have been going to Disney World annually for 60 years.
I am probably the longest annual pass holder they have. But sadly this will be my last year. Walt's pixie dust dream is gone! The corporate quest for $$$ has killed the Magic! You can see it all around you in the parks and the hotels. No water in the fridge, you have to pay for water!!! All…

I am probably the longest annual pass holder they have. But sadly this will be my last year. Walt's pixie dust dream is gone! The corporate quest for $$$ has killed the Magic! You can see it all around you in the parks and the hotels. No water in the fridge, you have to pay for water!!! All the new hotels are no more than Hyatts or Hiltons nothing special. I think they fired anyone that wanted to theme anything.
The new monstrosity hotel next to the Polynesian Hotel has killed any feeling of Paradise. The exterior looks like something leftover from the Soviet cell blocks. Water view rooms $$ at the Poly now look at the backs of ugly bungalows on the water. Walt hated the Dolphin and Swan hotels and now they are the ugly standard.

Water view lunch.

Ate at the waterside restaurant for lunch today. Felt a brief escape from the whole direct Disney theming elsewhere on the resort. The setting and theming was incredible. Service, food, pricing all spot on. Paid $17 for the crispy chicken burger. $9 for pint of beer. Gorgeous views over the water. Would certainly recommend.
We love this place!

It was our 2nd stay at the Lodge, choosing once again the Boulder Ridge 1-Bedroom suite - and we really, really, really like this hotel.
What we liked:
Wonderful cast members: front desk, bell services and people around the resort. Well appointed rooms... yes, they are more expensive than nearby "vacations club" offering from major hotel chains, but you do have more: more entertainment, more dining options, more kitchen and cooking items, more space... and the Disney theming. The room assigned was extremely well maintained with a nice view toward the pool and the lake. Disney transportation abound from this resort, which is well located to access most of the Disney parks. Particularly like the boat option to/from Magic Kingdom. Nice and comfortable bed/bedroom, easy to use murphy bed, ample space in the kitchen and for dining. Always nice to have washer/dryer in the room. Very good housekeeping during our stay that would replenish whatever had been used. Even though it was really hot and humid outside, room temperature was adequate at all times. Cool pool areas and theming.
Very highly recommended

Very friendly and helpful staff. The interior is gorgeous and very comfortable. Love their wilderness and rustic lodge theme. Nice outdoor restaurant with views of the water - we also watched the evening water show from the viewpoint here.
