Very beautiful and excellently managed resort. There is great accuracy in everything and attention to the customer in every detail. I happened to have a small health problem regarding my wife. Very beautiful and excellently managed resort. There is great accuracy in everything and attention to the customer in every detail. I happened to have a small health problem regarding my wife. I asked if there was a doctor in the resort and they accompanied me to the island's clinic. Here I met Dr. Ali, who turned out to be a very serious, competent, extremely helpful and kind professional. In the following days, Dr. Ali continued to follow us, proving to be very scrupulous. Excellent experience, therefore, that of Constant Moofushi. Read less

We love this island so much so that this was our third time there and the only place we have been on holiday abroad as a family for the last 5 years! This time we upgraded and spent 9 nights in two senior water villas having previously stayed in beach villas (7 and 10 nights repsectively) - to be honest both are great. The first half of the holiday was brilliant. The weather, the light which was at times etherial in the evenings as the photos show, the amazing snorkelling, the excellent food and above all the wonder staff - so delighted that so many of our 'friends' were still there. So many to remember but big shout out to Sam, Binju, Shammu, James (Manta), Gopan and Jisu (the BEST old fashioned cocktails ever according to my hubbie), Adil (FOH), Maura (Blue Tribe) - who did his best to find whale sharks fir us but to no avail sadly, housekeeping (Javaa and Bobo), Coco - sommalier, Anna and Wang at the spa - all who were exemplary in their professions. Ellena was a fab new marine biologist and went out of her way to find and photograph our 'corals' from previous visits and JB in the gym made it his personal mission to put our two sons and my husband through their paces - they loved their daily visit and 'stretches'. The management team we came across especially Daniel the executive chef were again fantastic. One of the things that really makes this resort stand out is how they blurred the boundaries between the staff and the guests inviting you not only on the really informative backstage tour, but on each three occasions we've been here, welcoming our sons to play football with the staff each evening and volleyball on the beach which is always a highlight for us. In the last couple of years this last activity had been stopped, but they laid on a special game on our last night which delighted the boys - even playing through rain storms - this is dedication! It's also a fantastic way again for the gets to get to know the stuff and the management team and has really made a big difference to how we feel so at home on Moofushi. But ... the last half unfortunately was impacted by the weather (not in the hotel's control of course as the monsoon change happened a bit later than normal this year) and extensive Christmas preparations, both in terms of some facilities closing down (we were gutted to lose the games room which was being used as a workshop for xmas decorations as this is a big feature for teenagers) but also the distraction for the staff who became very busy with the extra preparation and huge amount of light and decorations that were being erected - taking over a week (sadly we left the day of the grand light turning on so didn't get to see the results but there was hardly a tree on the island that wasn't haven't lights added so I am sure it will be spectacular!). It also became extremely busy at near full copapcity with family groups inching babies and very young children which significantly changed the vibe (and the noise levels!) of the water villas and restaurants for our last four nights. Had we only experienced this last few days of our holiday I'm not sure we would've gone again, but thankfully we had the first few days and the two previous visits to reference as well. That said this still is fabulous resort with amazing staff, I hope we just picked the wrong time of year to go this time. I have rated this as 5 stars as didn't review our previous two times in 2019 and 2022 but had I been rating for this time alone I would have given 4 stars ... and really hope that our fav place on the planet reverts back to its special and unique vibe, simplistic and tranquil luxury and friendly culture when we (hopefully) visit next time. The most amazing and special experiences ever. A home away from home with the team going to every length making your comfort a priority. The resort is full of experiences enhancing the special time you spend on the Island. The amount of sea life, located just a few meters walk from your room, is incredible

This was our fourth visit to Moofushi, and our second trip this year—which shows just how special this place is to us. What truly sets it apart is the incredible staff. Every single person here goes above and beyond, and we can’t thank them enough for making our stay so memorable. The food is absolutely fantastic. The themed nights at the restaurant are a real highlight, from fresh fish cooked right in front of you on the beach during Seafood Night to the beautiful sushi spread on Asian Night. Everything is so fresh and delicious, and Daniel and his team do an amazing job of maintaining such high quality. A special mention has to go to Priyantha. He is not just a talented chef but also such a kind and thoughtful person. He really went out of his way to make sure I was well looked after, as I’m gluten-free. From pancakes and pasta to cakes and desserts, he made sure I didn’t miss out on anything, and it was all incredible. His homemade ice cream and desserts are something else entirely—absolutely next level! Beyond his cooking, Priyantha always took the time to check in on us and ensure we were happy, truly making a difference to our holiday. The team at Manta truly stood out once again—they’re such a fantastic group of people who make every moment so enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always greeting us with big smiles and lovely conversations every day. Special thanks to Nizz, Hishan, Ali, Shinaz/Ronaldo, Rasheed, Naja, Shammu, Maiz, James, Waseem, and Yabee. The beverage team at Manta and Totem were absolutely brilliant. Their drinks were of amazing quality, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We thoroughly enjoyed our daily chats with them. Thank you to Ranjith, Gopan, Fonceka, Jisu, Inaas, Richy, Alamin, Kubar, and Chris. Ranjith also ran an amazing cocktail-making class, and we learned how to make some great new drinks. The sommeliers deserve a special mention too. They always take the time to recommend wines they know you’ll love, and I haven’t had a bad suggestion yet—they’re so knowledgeable! Thank you, Nithin, Koko, and Bhumi. We also loved the complimentary wine tastings they offer. It’s a great way to get to know the sommeliers and other guests better, as well as to discover new wines you may not have thought to try before. All of the staff made our experience so memorable and are an absolute credit to Constance. The management team, including Manjoola, Luthi, Daniel, Hassan, and Rittay, are always around, making sure everything is perfect and showing genuine interest in your experience. The snorkeling is another highlight—you don’t even need a boat trip to see incredible marine life. Just a short swim from the beach, you’ll find vibrant fish and coral that are breathtaking. Our water villa was amazing, as always, and Janna, our housekeeper, kept it spotless. He's so friendly and always brightened our mornings with his cheerful chats. The gardeners do such a fantastic job of keeping the island immaculate. A special thank you to Rada, who climbed trees to get us fresh coconuts—you can’t beat that kind of service! We also tried the Cinefushi (cinema on the beach) this time, and it was such a special experience. We’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Thank you again to our Moofushi family for yet another unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to return next year! Read less
