Beach Villas with Pool are 187m2, and have a private 5x3 metre pool, private garden, covered and open patios with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Family Beach Villas with Pool are 280m2, and have a private 8x3 metre pool, private garden, covered and open patios, master bedroom with king-size bed, children’s bedroom (twin beds) and bathroom, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 child.

Superior Beach Villas with Pool are 280m2, and have a private 8x3 metre pool, private garden, covered and open patios, lounge, master bedroom, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 child.

Royal Beach Villa is 900m2, is set over two floors, and has a unique indoor/outdoor 10x4 metre pool, private garden, covered and open patios, gazebo, lounge with private bar and kitchen, 3 en suite bedrooms with closets (one also featuring a massage area and lounge), and 3 king-size beds, sleeping maximum 8 adults or 4 adults and 4 child.

Water Villas are 168m2, are located on the pier overlooking the sea, and have a patio over the sea, bedroom with walk-in closet, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Jacuzzi Water Villas are 168m2, and have a 2m2 Jacuzzi, patio over the sea, bedroom with walk-in closet, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Water Villas with Pool are 184m2, and have a private 5x3 metre pool, patio over the sea, bedroom with walk-in closet, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Superior Water Villas with Pool are 310m2, and have a private 8x3 metre pool, patio over the sea, lounge, bedroom with walk-in closet, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Presidential Water Villa is 640m2, sits at the end of the pier, and has a private 10x4 metre pool, patio overlooking the reef, lounge with private bar and kitchen, 2 bedrooms with walk-in closets, and 2 king-size beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Second time was just as beautiful and relaxing as the first time! This is one of the most wonderful places on the planet and I can’t wait to come again. Sid and the wider team delivered an absolutely impeccable service experience. A special shout out to the Sommelier team!

The ideal family getaway! Surrounded by stunning nature, the hotel boasts a warm and welcoming staff, along with delicious dining options. The gala dinners were spectacular, and the Christmas decorations were truly enchanting. A special thank you to our villa host, Kristina, for arranging such a wonderful vacation on the island. The service from all the waitstaff was exceptional—they were incredibly friendly and attentive. Initially, I had some reservations about the villa since it was a bit dated, but the overall friendly atmosphere made up for it. Although my kids are over 12 and didn’t use the kids club, I could tell it was fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! Read less

Best kind of place .!

This has to be the best place I have ever been to .! Relaxing, refreshing and too positive. The staff managers , all are at best of their services . The gestures and hospitality of everyone is remarkable. The food, rooms , services , all were incredible. I have been there more than once and got extra perks as a gratitude. They make sure to make you feel special, valued and that you have a good time there . Everyone’s ready to help you in every way. The staff is too friendly , polite and helpful . The rooms are luxurious with breathtaking views. The beaches are awesome. The cafes , restaurants are too good .! From your arrival to your departure ., there is always someone to take care of everything. Definitely making it my permanent holiday destination. Read less

Fantastic resort and island in a stunning natural setting with wonderfully kind and welcoming staff. We chose Emerald Resort & Spa for a multi generational first time trip to the Maldives to celebrate my 60th birthday. Often the hype and adverts don’t live up to the actual reality but in this case our experience far exceeded our expectations and the island was even more beautiful than we’d hoped . The staff were lovely and attentive without being intrusive and guests’ every need have been so thoughtfully anticipated. Everything you could want from such a holiday of a lifetime has already been very generously included such as free photo shoots, a dolphin spotting trip and a multitude of gorgeous specially created mocktails and cocktails. So we could just sit back and fully enjoy every aspect of this truly wonderful setting. It is so evident that commitment to ensuring a perfect guest experience is shared by all the staff whatever their roles or responsibilities. We encountered an unexpected issue near the start of our stay which was caused unintentionally by another guest. But we were pleasantly surprised how well the management dealt with it, how they listened to and acted on our concerns promptly and their continued efforts to ensure we were able to fully enjoy the rest of our stay. The Emerald Resort & Spa lived up fully and in every sense to its accolade as one of the best hotels in the world . We would return there in a heartbeat . Read less

Our perfect honeymoon

We have just returned from our 2 week honeymoon at Emerald and loved every minute of it. There wasn’t anything we could fault. All the staff were incredibly friendly and went out their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The food in all restaurants was amazing, plenty of choice in Aqua and we loved all the à la carte restaurants, our favourite being the Amazonica restaurant. The teppenyaki experience is Asiatique was also fantastic, and we loved to have lunch down in Beach Grill. The gala dinner every Thursday is just incredible, we looked forward to this each week and loaded our plates up multiple times throughout the evening. We had an over water villa with a jacuzzi, which was perfect for us on some of the cloudy days. The room and bathroom were very spacious and had a picturesque view out into the ocean. The snorkelling right out the back of our villa was brilliant, we saw a huge variety of fish, even a sting ray, eagle ray and a reef shark. We also booked a private jet ski tour for 2 hours in our stay which we would highly recommend. We went out to see manta rays and turtles. It was an experience we will never forget and both got to ride the jet skis for a good amount of time. Special mentions we would like the mention: Ramses, our villa host. We informed him it was our honeymoon and he upgraded our benefits which made it extra special. Nothing was ever too much for him and this experience wouldn’t have been the same without him. Jameel, our villa attendant. He kept our room sparkling clean throughout our entire stay. He decorated our room for our honeymoon and also drew 2 baths for us, which made coming back to the room extra special. Yashi, one of the sommeliers. We got speaking at one of the rainy day wine testing events and he was interested to know what kinds of wines I liked. After this, every time we saw him, he introduced me to new wines, ones that I probably wouldn’t have tried. I have come back with some new favourites and also more knowledge on wines. The rest of the sommelier team were also lovely and very helpful. Miraa, a standout waiter for us. We met him in Amazonica and he recommended dishes to us that we hadn’t spotted on the menu and made an effort to chat and get to know us. Every time we saw him again in Aqua or Amazonica, he would be the first to greet us with a friendly smile. The general manager, Rohit, always made an effort to come and speak to us to ensure we were having a wonderful stay. Thank you to everyone who made our honeymoon. a holiday to remember.
