Located on the private island of Maafushi, which is part of Dhaalu Atoll, and is connected to neighbouring Riu Palace Maldivas by walkway. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Im here with my family and i have had a few Nights jet lagged, so i stayed up a lot, Freddy, one of the amazing staff, who was so hospitable and so friendly to me, also someone who i related to in many ways, has given such an amazing service to me and all the guests that came her during my stay for this night, deserves a pay rise in my opinion, barely anyone in London works as hard as Freddy and they get paid on average more, and i think it is so unfair i can not give Freddy a tip because i dont have cash, RIU should ALLOW staff to receive tips through CARD, because people/staff like Freddy are not just rare but they provide amazing memories for customers and make people/tourists want to come back to the hotel, there is so many amazing staff members at RIU in general but Freddy had made my stay here from a Great experience to an EXCELLENT experience and i have not had that very often, I have been to many locations around the world but the maldives and this island are the best place i have been to and it id my no. 1 place to visit now because of the hospitality of the staff. I will definitely be coming back here eventually and i would love to see Freddy especially in a higher role because he is very smart and he deserves to have more respect and power as he is very responsible, never did Freddy forget about his work duties while keeping conversation with me and other customers, he is your no.1 bartender and he deserves more. Thank you, I hope the person who is in charge of the staff sees this, as this is such a special place to me and i want to have a way to tip people like Freddy.
