The resort itself is okay, but what truly made our stay exceptional were the incredible staff members: Mo, Raid, Amir, Luban, Surya, Sam, Draku, chef Shaaban, Abbas, Ashruf And Mehri. Their dedication, kindness, and attention to detail elevated our experience to a whole new level. Without them, our stay would not have been as enjoyable. We traveled to the Maldives with both sets of grandparents and our daughter. It was our first time visiting, and we chose Raaya for our stay. It turned out to be the perfect choice. The lagoon waters on the island were a jelly-like turquoise, incredibly beautiful. The food was delicious, and we ended up gaining a few pounds. Our butler, Eldor, was very attentive and helped us book all our activities, including three special dining experiences, a sunset cruise, snorkeling, and a massage. We had a small issue along the way, but Eldor resolved it promptly. We even had the chance to be there for Christmas and participated in a special Christmas dinner, which was a unique and memorable experience for my parents. This trip was truly unforgettable. We needed a holiday to detox from a crazy working year, we chose Raaya and this is by far the best decision we could have made, Did the Finest All-Inclusive Resort live up to expectations? 99% Upon arrival at the airport, our bags were taken all the way until we reach our room This place had everything we needed for a completely relaxing holiday, the cleaness, the staff, the facility, the efficiency, the food, the quality and the friendliness were all top noch The resort is well maintained, the restaurant food was top quality and I want to make sure I shout out the following staff who went above and beyond during our stay, with who we made such special memories and making us already wanting to return Raaya Life - The entire restaurant team, from hosts to chefs, played a role in the unforgettable dining experience, Positive attitude + High-energy Mo - Special shout out to Mo, Mo loves his job and what he does, this is why he made our stay feel extra special, Mo remembers the drink we have every morning, he's always running around and energetic with frequent check-ins to all diners. He is warm and extremely thoughtful Next up, Suriya, Suriya resolved an issue we brought up, and since then he checked on us everyday to ensure everything was ok, he went the extra mile to make us feel special and prepared some delicious cuisine, we absolutely loved the little conversations we had daily with him, Suriya is very passionate about cooking, he has a strong work ethic and is very thoughtful Chanchal, the top guy of the fresh fruits and juices station, another happy and positive employee who loves and is passionate about what he does Hussain is another great addition to our staff, despite being very new to Raaya he did everything he could to help us Top Chefs Azis, Shyamal and Puti for making such delicious gado gado, fish and cake on our anniversary And a huge thank you to Betan, our top housekeeper, who ensured our room was always clean and tidy Amir at The village made our diner experiences so lovely The list goes on, we would like to thank everyone for such lovely hospitality and Raaya is very lucky to have you, our holiday was so memorable because of all of you Improvement, AMPERS&ND – this is such a lovely dining area with romantic peaceful vibes and beautiful cuisine, but sadly the Cabanas make the place a disappointment, we were there 7 days in a row and saw no improvement despite the initial feedback, the cushions were covered with bird droppings, some very inconsiderate guests left their cigarette butts on there too which explains why no one was using it, I understand you can’t control wild life and it didn't spoil our holiday but if it was cleaned up the entire resort would have been perfect Read less

Here's my comprehensive review of Raaya by Atmosphere, Some context, we visited as a couple in Dec 2024, for approx 1 Week, and booked it as part of a package holiday. Arrival: Overall the arrival was really nice, we were greeted by the traditional drums from the moment we stepped off the sea plane. as well as a cold drink and an even colder towel. We were then assigned a guest relations manager in our case Yaeesh, who gave us a brief tour if the island and had kindly booked some restaurants and free excursions for us [once we could adjust for our preference]. He then showed us to our room and also gave us a tour, as well as exchanged Whatsapp numbers to keep in touch. Having stayed at other resorts in the Maldives this seems to be the general approach taken, and was a nice touch to make us feel welcomed and looked after. Room Cleanliness: We stayed in the over water villa and what can I say, the room was CLEAN, spotless, and was maintained that way throughout our entire stay. The fridge and snacks were always stocked daily, and i have to give a hats off to the cleaners who were efficient and really on top of it. 10/10. Activities: There are a lot of activities taking place throughout the day so you definitely wont be bored if you like to get out and be active, and there is something for everyone, from house reef snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding and other motorised sports, Dhoni boat experience: There is one must do activity that you get to take home as a souvenir, and that is building your own Dhoni boat, both Mehri and Manaaf were brilliant, we spent about an hour and a half both building and painting our boats and Mehri helped us add a couple of nice touches to our Dhoni, thank you Mehri! She was friendly, helpful super easy to talk to and overall a gem to Raaya. Spa: We had 3 treatments during our stay, and I cannot recommend the balineese treatment enough, Susanti and Otulu took really good care of us and made the trip extra special and even more relaxing. Food: Probably the most important part for many, there are several restaurants as well as the main buffet on the island. Let me start with the positives, the Raaya buffet, was very very good, for all meals, Breakfast/Lunch and Dinner. There was a lot of variety catering to Indian and Chinese pallets, but in general there was something for everyone as you would expect, and the chefs would also go above and beyond for us, providing alternatives if there was something we requested. A very special shout out to: Sandeep, Karthik, Bayan, Hussein, Mo (Mahmoud), Serjio, Jibon, Chanchal, Saleh and Zizi for making the experience extra special, and always greeting us with a smile, we really appreciated it. [one small improvement here, would be to show new guests around the buffet just to make them more comfortable, especially on their first day] We also dined at Mizaj and The Village, Both were a bit of a disappointment in all honesty. Mizaj - Great service, but it went a bit downhill from there. We ordered the mezze platter and to our surprise none of these were fresh, the hummus and moutabal for instance was much better at the Raaya buffet than it was here. Overall the food was average, we didn't dine here again. The Village - Fine dining Italian cuisine, Overall service was great, but the food was really lacking, the bread was not fresh and was microwaved, the gambretti (prawns) starter we ate was not quite to our taste. And the lamb chops were quite fatty and not much meat, unfortunately we left hungry after this one. After this experience we decided to stick to the buffet, as we knew we would not be disappointed here and not bother with dinner at the third restaurant on the island ampers&nd. My note for improvements would be to change the Village restaurant to local Maldievien cuisine, they had this at another resort we stayed at and the local Maldievien food was incredible, I feel you are missing a trick with not having this. Realistically speaking who is going to the Maldives to eat Italian food not cooked by an Italian... Beach: Couldn't really fault it, soft white sand in most areas, there were some parts that had slightly sharper coral but the beaches were clean and free of rubbish. Overall it was a great holiday, and we really did enjoy our time here, as mentioned with a few improvements this really does have the potential to be a really great getaway. Read less

My family and I had an amazing stay at Raaya by Atmosphere. Everyone there is so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to these staffs for making our stay extra fun and special. Chanchal, the juice guy. He makes the best juice every morning (be sure to try his specials, its amazing). He is also very friendly and makes his job so fun to do and always greeting us with a smile to start our morning right. Saarah, our host, always checking on us to see if we have anything we needed assistance with, answering our enquiries, even called us on his off day as he wasnt able to send us off on our last day. Manaf, an indonesian staff that helped us make our Dhoni boats and taught us how to play Paddletennis, we have the best time talking to him and he is very helpful as well. Narvin, a bartender that makes great cocktails and very friendly as well :) Though it was raining the whole week we were there, this island has many activities that you can do during wet weathers. We really enjoyed our stay there and we felt so welcomed by everybody. Food there was good too but we wished that there were more varieties for breakfast. Read less
