We spent 28 nights at the hotel in a pool villa no 134 which was in a great position, I think there are 10 pool villa's in total with the first 5 ( 133-137) having larger bathrooms with a large jaccuzi bath. The room was well equipped and had good WiFi, the pool was cleaned every day and in our view well worth the extra. On the whole the staff… Read more

On the whole the staff were helpful and friendly, our waiter Abdulla was very attentive, our stay was made unforgettable by the manager of the main buffet restaurant Mithila, he certainly went the extra mile every meal to make sure we had what we needed and would get the chiefs make us something fantastic most evening. We went a a full board plan and a small bonus was that water with meals was free. Our only negative regarding the food was the chicken dishes having a lot of small bones in them. The snorkelling was exellent from the beach directly outside our room, we never took any of the trips as the prices are eye watering. We have been lucky to visit many islands but for the first time we did not want to leave and will defiantly return. Read less

The beach was absolutely stunning — soft white sand, crystal-clear water, and tons of cool sea life. The kids were in heaven! They spent the whole day swimming, splashing around, and just having a blast. The food was great — tasty, lots of options, and something for everyone. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. A special shout-out to our manager, Noble, who made everything so easy for us. He was always there to help out and even hooked us up with free meals at the airport in Malé — such a nice surprise to end our trip! If you’re looking for a family-friendly place to relax, Royal Island Resort is the perfect spot. Read less
