The hotel

Overlooking a beautiful stretch of beach, on Furanafushi Island in the North Malé Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 15 minutes by speedboat.

Deluxe Rooms with thatched roofs, either on the ground floor with terrace or first floor with balcony, near the beach with an island or beach view, with 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, plus day bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

All Inclusive option: Includes buffet breakfast in FEAST. Lunch at FEAST, or two courses at ChopstiX, Anchorage, Kakuni Hut or Masala Hut (subject to change). Dinner at FEAST or three courses at ChopstiX, Anchorage, or Masala Hut (subject to change).Unlimited draught beer, selected wines by the glass, house spirits (including scotch, gin, vodka, bourbon, rum, tequila and brandy), mineral water, soft drinks and juices, offered in all bars and restaurants from 3:00pm on arrival day to 12:00pm on departure day.  Buffet Breakfast at FEAST is included as standard

Island or Beachfront Cottages have a private terrace and tropical island or beach views and are steps away from the lagoon. They are larger and have open-air bathroom, 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Island Cottages with Plunge Pool have a private terrace and tropical island views and are steps away from the lagoon. They have open-air bathroom, 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Over Water Bungalows built on stilts over the lagoon have a private sun terrace and direct access to the lagoon, and have 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Over Water Bungalows with Plunge Pool sit over the water with direct access, thatched roofs and sun terrace and offer magnificent ocean views with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Water Villas are larger with upgraded amenities, and also sit over the water with direct ocean access and private plunge pool. Villas have 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Ocean Pool Villas with private plunge pool and uninterrupted sea views, located on private side of the island with latest in-room entertainment, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 infant.

Water Suites are spacious over-water suites with mini plunge pool, a separate lounge area and private deck, two bedrooms both with 1 king-size bed. One room overlooking a second deck with direct sea access and sun loungers, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Just had an amazing holiday at Sheraton Maldives hotel for 4 nights. It was like a dream comes true. We enjoyed thoroughly. We were looked after from airport arrival then took a hotel speed boat for about 10 mins. Many hotel staff were there to greet us and provided a welcome drink. We were allocated with one staff Rawnsley who took us to the room, guided us about the hotel and looked after us throughout our time. He also sent us hotel daily activities via what’s up. He made sure our stay was very smooth and enjoyable. He is an asset to the hotel. We had a deluxe hotel room by the beach which was perfect. Room was spacious with all necessary requirements and very clean. They provide drinking water bottles free unlimited in the room in a glass bottle which is very good. There are plenty of food choice for veg/non veg and they cater for all nationalities. Special thanks to the chef Mr Ruwan at Feast restaurant who looked after us too. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and always greeting to everyone . They provide Canoe/Kayaking free daily. Sea water is very calm for this resort due to the island layout and it is blue crystal water with sandy beach. They also provide snorkelling equipments and life jacket free. They provide many sports/some fun games without charge. There are so many swings and tree/plants which looks beautiful , cool and green. They have free buggy ride if you wish and umbrellas outside each room to use if we require. They have 7 restaurants. We had full board package which was better for us. Menu price on the restaurants and any water activities, SPA we find it very expensive as they have to import everything. We had coconut tree climbing activity and free coconut water on our last day which was fun organised by very friendly staff Samal. House keeping did a very good job too. Room has many drawers, cupboards, tub, shower, tea, coffee machine, air condition, big t.v. balcony with swing etc. Hotel free Wifi is very good and it was working in the whole resort. All round fabulous stay at the Sheraton Full Moon at Furunafushi. The pace is relaxed, the food is fabulous and you’re bound to find something for all tastes in the seven restaurants. Accommodation was we found, exceptional and was serviced twice a day by the lovely Maya, who couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed in an Ocean Villa and really were impressed with the size and layout. The views were magnificent and the sunrises spectacular. We even had bikes to get around the 900m long island. Our villa was on the beach front on the east of the island and had a rough sea, but we only had a short walk to the typical Maldivian beautiful white sandy beaches. You may like to consider one of the beach front rooms on the south side if you want a perfect sandy beach on your doorstep or if you have mobility difficulties. There are also beach bungalows reached by a decked footpath over the sea. We found the island was very lush and green and with a wealth of biodiversity and enough shade for those that want it. I understand the whole resort received a full upgrade in 2019, and there are signs of wear and tear if you really look for them but this made no difference at all to our stay. The hotel grows a lot of its own fruit and veg, and takes sustainability really seriously. The snorkelling trips to nearby reefs were fantastic with a wide variety of fish, stingrays, sea snakes, and eels, plus black tipped and nurse sharks (harmless) to be seen. Read less

Was here January 2025 for my wife's birthday. Booked in advance. It was a breeze from airport arrival, the hotel staff waiting for us outside the airport all the way to the speed boat and the arrival area. Efficient staff. Check in was a breeze, we arrived 10AM and was nicely surprised that our room was already ready. Booked room 316, which was on 2nd floor overlooking a very scenic beach with overwater villas on the left and right side. Room was very clean and very nice view from the balcony. We were very fortunate to be upgraded to an ocean pool villa on out 3rd night courtesy of our dedicated Furana Connector, Ma'am RUSSEL MALATE. Shout out to Ms Rusel, ma'am, you have made our stay so much much more enjoyable with your services above and beyond what we expected. Hats off ma'am, thank you so much for attending to all our needs during our stay and for sharing your own brand of Filipino hospitality all the way in Maldives. The ocean pool villa we moved to is much much larger than the initial room 316 that we had. Equipped with its own pool facing the ocean, and its own bath tub inside the spacious villa. I think utmost privacy is the term for this villa. We even had our own bicycles to use for going around the island. Food was abundant, different variations. The resort has 6 different restaurants to cater to your different palates. We were able to try the Thai and Chopstix resturants, Kakuni Bar - shout out to my man, EYMAN (dude i hope i got your name right) very chatty person with very good personality and customer service. Keep up the great work. Beach was very scenic and photogenic, my camera could not provide justice to it, It was much prettier in person than in photos. And the water, very clean. And there are small black tipped reef sharks(?) a few meters from the shore, i was surprised to see one nearby when i was snorkeling. And i swam with one of the green turtles near the over water villa #5. Kudos also to our handy and reliable driver Jamal ( i hope i got your name right sir). Service with a smile. Thank you sir. Will i go back? definitely yes if i have the money i will take my kids here as well. Only time can tell. But this is definitely one of my bucket list items that was above and beyond my expectations. We had a fantastic time here for our first trip to Maldives. Carol, our main concierge, did a tremendous job, and I am so glad we had her on the trip as a guide. I highly recommend visiting. The Masala Hut indian food place was also a great food option.
