We spent lovely 10days at the Salt of Palmar. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was exquisite and the room/bed mattress was so comfortable. We enjoyed yoga and gym sessions which was very beneficial and enjoyable. Kenny was an excellent gym coach. On our last day I did spa massage. The spa therapist Juliana was so skilful and professional. I must say it was one of the best massage I have ever had!! I highly recommend her if anyone wants a best massage.
Over all it was a most relaxing holiday for us. Lastly, I have enjoyed the art sessions with Danny who helped my first acrylic paintings and I could bring back beautiful memories of Mauritius staying at The Salt .

We spent little over a week for our honeymoon at salt of palmar - although upon arrival checkin was little less than what we imagined the team made up for it with their attentive service and helpfulness - the quality of the food is one of the most unique points of the hotel - locally sourced organic ingredients used for high quality fresh meals.
The management team are so alert and friendly and tended to our every need they always made it a point to think of solutions pragmatically - I want to especially thank Rishi for being very professional and helpful in helping with making up for the checkin hassle we faced - the hotel went really above and beyond for us! And we really felt the genuine care a special thanks to Sanjay who always had a smile and made us feel like we were getting extra care! Very funny and welcoming guy!
The hotel also offered us a discounted couples spa treatment I have to admit Juliana was really good with the firm massage to get through my knots and put me to sleep!
We’re so glad we decided to come to Mauritius in comparison to the other Indian Ocean islands - the Mauritian people were really warm hearted and kind to us everywhere we went.

My wife and I came to Salt for a week to switch off from every day life and to enjoy a relaxing holiday, something we very rarely do. The hotel had some incredible reviews and also ticked a lot of boxes for us and boy it didn't disappoint once we were there. From the moment we walked through the door, a sense of calm came over us, which lasted for our whole stay. The design of this Hotel is beautiful, which is only complemented by the wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable team, who are just incredible. And the food is phenomenal! The whole team always gave us 100% and made us feel very calm and relaxed. They even went the extra mile for us when we had difficulties with our return flight.
If Mauritius is on your radar, please make this your No 1 place to stay.
