The hotel

Ever feel like you want to escape to a private island far, far away – well here’s your chance. This is the first resort to open on Dubai’s astonishing archipelago, and they’ve not done things by half. Arrive at Anantara The Palm Dubai and jump onboard your boat transfer across to this luxury, secluded island and leave the city behind. You won’t need to pack many pairs of shoes for this trip, as you’ll find yourself with the sand between your toes for the majority of the time, whether it’s stepping our from your beachfront room, taking part in the watersports, or watching a movie under the stars. You’ll feel far away from Dubai city but you can enjoy spectacular views of it whilst dining on tapas and wine at Luna, a cool island haunt with chilled vibes. Speaking of chilled, why not take part in one of the beach yoga classes to start your day? Whilst there is an air of relaxation around the place, little ones will enjoy the activities on offer at the kids’ club and there’s beach volleyball available should you wish to exert a bit more energy. And why not upgrade to a pool villa for that added privacy, complete with sparkling ocean views from your own private pool.

I recently organized a teambuilding for our entire Human Capital for over 150 people. The execution was perfect. Every detail that was highlighted was addressed and looked after and Alize from the team was accommodating from the food catered, to the locations and to the boat schedule was an amazing event.

The most amazing part of this 1-night fabulous stay was the service! From our arrival at the Kite Beach customer centre to drop off the car - to the lovely welcome on arrival at the island...this list goes on. Thank you to everyone connected with Anantara on this trip - I cannot single out one person because everyone was so attentive. This treatment made our stay so special. It was our anniversary, it was wonderful Anantara remembered, we relaxed, enjoyed our lovely room and pool, the main pool and even had a quick dip in the sea. The food was excellent, off course accompanied by superb service. You truly felt that all the staff were happy to be of service. We didn't use the gym, tennis courts or pool tables - maybe next time! I would recommend this island for a mini-getaway from the hubbub of Dubai. I honestly felt as if I was abroad! Read less
