The hotel

JA Ocean View Hotel Jumeirah Beach proudly overlooks the Arabian Gulf with stunning views over Blue Water Island and Palm Jumeirah. Each guest room is furnished to the highest standard and gorgeous sea views and balconies. Head outdoors to the infinity swimming pool to cool off or laze beside in oversized loungers. There’s a separate kids' pool with shade cover so children can play to their hearts content too. Fitness enthusiasts will love the state-of-the-art health club complete with Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna or pamper yourself at the spa, offering a plethora of tempting treatments to leave you feeling on top of the world! Where is it

JA Ocean View Hotel is located on "The Walk”, Dubai’s outdoor shopping mile with restaurants, cafés and shops in the Dubai Marina, as well as being steps from a gorgeous stretch of public beach. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 30 minutes.

346 rooms and suites (153 interconnecting) on 25 floors. All with air-conditioning, sea views, balcony, satellite TV with pay-per-view movies, telephone, WiFi access, mini-bar*, tea/coffee maker, safe, hairdryer and iron and board. Sea View Rooms are located on floors 5-14 and offer views over the Arabian Gulf and The Palm Jumeirah, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed on request, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.



Half Board option: Half board is defined as breakfast and lunch or dinner. The meal includes a buffet or 1 starter, 1 main course and 1 dessert per person and applicable children’s menu in the all day dining outlet. No beverages are included. Half Board is available in the following restaurants: Le Rivage (breakfast and dinner) and Lvl Blu (lunch only).

Superior Sea View Rooms are located on higher floors, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Club Sea View Rooms are located on floors 21-25, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Junior Suite Sea View Rooms are more spacious with a living area, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Family One Bedroom Suites are a special family room with a living area, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed, sleeping maximum adults or 2 adults and 2 children plus 1 infant.

Coral Lounge: situated on the 24th floor with views over The Gulf, offering the following complimentary benefits to guests staying in Club Sea View Rooms, Junior Suite Sea View Rooms and One Bedroom Suites:

  • Breakfast service daily from 6:30am–11:00am in the lounge or in the all-day dining restaurant Le Rivage
  • Afternoon snacks from 3:00pm–5:00pm
  • Evening hot and cold canapés with selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic house beverages during happy hour from 5:00pm-7:00pm
  • Coral Bar within Club Lounge will operate until 7:00pm, with last order at 06:30pm. All alcoholic orders outside of happy hour timings will be charged separately upon consumption

Khem Lal, Mustafa were fantastic! They went above and beyond! The hotel was cleaned immaculately, they checked us in and gave us our room early, free of charge, as our flight was changed. Wonderful helpful staff, beautiful hotel, great location.

My family stayed at JA for Christmas 2024. The hotel a great Christmas day care with activities and gifts for the kids. The stand-out employee was Francis: he otook care of us during the breakfast buffet. He was very friendly, attentive, and responsive.

The Staffs are awesome! Very attentive and helpful especially Francis! What an excellent performance. We’re glad we stayed here during Christmas day! They arranged Christmas nursery for kids so parents can enjoy, they provided delicious food! And gave our kids a gifts

Food was great, Pool was warm, Bed was very comfortable. Kuya Francis was the best. I liked the hot chocolate. Receptionist Batma was polite to received us, thank you hopefully will be back & recommend also to our friends. We enjoyed our stay this holiday season😊

Searched many hotels for a few weeks before choosing this one. I was advised it was a nice place but one of the older hotels. Due to price and location I decided to take the chance. I can say with confidence that it was the perfect choice. On arrival the porters were really friendly, which should be expected, but my initial impression of the front desk was professional but a bit cold (maybe she was having a bad morning). For me one person doesn’t represent all the staff. Rooms - The room was clean, a tiny bit of dust behind the TV, but that was it. Had an ocean view room which provided a nice view of the Dubai Eye and junction of the beach and The Walk. It had all the necessary amenities other than an iron. There are a nice choice of onsite restaurants. We only used one for breakfast which had a great selection including vegetarian options. The matradee who I believe is named Hussain, actually took me to meet one of the chefs when I asked about the vegetarian options the evening before. I thought this was an excellent customers service. He was there the next morning and came over to greet me and my family and showed us the vegetarian options for that morning. He also remembered that I required a specific non-dairy milk option for my child. In regard to other restaurant staff I would like to mention Koe and Osama. I would say they a credit to the staff that work in the restaurant. Every morning they would great us with a smile on their face, remember our preferences after only saying it to them once. They would also engage while not being intrusive in anyway. We had two celebrations during our time at the hotel and on both days the hotel arranged a special room decoration on both occasions and even got a cake on one of the days. Again another nice touch by the hotel. The staff member assigned to our room Rabel always did a great job and again very friendly and would always check to see if we required anything even if he saw us away from our room. I believe staff should get credit where its due, so like I said the initial greeting from front desk was professional but a bit cold but this was not the case from Umer who always greeted us and made sure Abdulla one of the porters was always on the case. Would I stay here again yes, and would recommend to anyone as an option when visiting that part of Dubai. Read less
