Our experience at the beach was made truly extraordinary by Pankaj’s exceptional service. At Ginger Moon restaurant, Sky and Aman provided outstanding hospitality, making our culinary (especially drinks) experience unforgettable.
We’re definitely planning to return in March/April after Ramadan.

Beach staff for extras took 15 mins to sort the bill to add the discount for member reward. They needed a particular device no one could find
No advance notice of the building works going on next door - sound proof doors they are not . Crane noise was constant until late in the night
The bar noise from Barista directly below was madness and all night until 3am you have thump thump thump of the base coming through. Hotel does provide ear plugs but when you can’t wear them sleep was not a luxury, so for light sleepers book elsewhere
This also included the mosque being built next door *I frankly like hearing the call to prayer * however if you don’t - look elsewhere.
The main pool was closed for private functions from 3pm in afternoons meaning you had to move to another hotel to use their pools - no advance notice of such functions

The holiday was excellent and the W is in a great location with great facilities. Easy access to public transport for getting around Dubai. The fact that you can use the facilities of the 3 hotels in the group gives you lots of choices for eating, drinking and relaxing by the pool or on the beach.
The holiday was made particularly special because of the staff at the hotel. Valentina at reception did her very best to give us a room on a high floor which was excellent.
Rosie from Guest Services was so friendly, helpful and accommodating always checking how your stay was going. She also left us a gift in our room on our last day.
The staff in Ginger Moon were also so welcoming and friendly. Making time to chat with us and get to know us. In particular Raj, Nora and Stephanie made us feel special and made a bit of a fuss of us on our last morning at breakfast, thanking us for choosing the W for our stay in Dubai.
Look after your staff as they are the hotel’s best asset and made our holiday so memorable. We would love to return as soon as we can.
