A truly serene and wonderful place with an atmosphere of peace and calm. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, making the experience all the more delightful. A special thank you to Manura at the front desk, and to Umer, Passang, and Mila from the spa for their outstanding service. This was our second stay at the Address Beach Resort Fujairah, and I must say it was a significant improvement compared to our first visit in February, which had left us underwhelmed. While some areas still need attention, the overall experience this time was much better, with notable enhancements across various aspects of the hotel. Check-In Experience Unfortunately, the check-in process fell short of expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Upon arrival at 1 PM (two hours before the official check-in time of 3 PM), we were assigned a room number, presumably to access facilities such as the pool or beach. However, when I attempted to order food by the pool after 3 PM, I was informed that I wasn’t registered as a guest, which caused considerable confusion and delays. The lack of communication was particularly frustrating. I spent over an hour waiting for my order before discovering the issue, which the pool bar staff had to resolve by physically visiting the reception as phone calls went unanswered. Eventually, I was formally checked in at 4:30 PM, with no explanation or gesture of compensation for the delay. This mishandling of the check-in process left a sour impression at the start of our stay. Improvements and Positive Highlights Thankfully, the rest of our stay was a delight and reflected substantial improvements in service quality since our last visit: 1. Exceptional Staff • Pool Bar Team: Nikson, Ajay, and Sonal provided excellent service with great cocktails and friendly interactions. • Housekeeping: Abishek, Samir, Abdul, Indra, and Kiran went above and beyond, ensuring perfect cleanliness and adding thoughtful touches like towel sculptures, rose petals, and extra amenities. • Restaurant Staff: Waiter Abdul was exceptionally polite and helpful, while Chef Sooraj elevated every meal with his personal attention and culinary expertise. • Beach Guards: Chami stood out for his attentiveness and even surprised us with a charming sand message. 2. Hotel Amenities • Cleanliness: The hotel premises were impeccably maintained. • Gym: Well-equipped and spotless, though the switch from bottled water to a dispenser with cups felt less convenient. • Food: A noticeable improvement in variety and quality, though seafood options could still be expanded given the seaside location. Areas for Improvement Despite the positives, some issues remain: 1. Facilities • The adults-only pool requires urgent renovation, with missing tiles making it uncomfortable to walk on. • The spa, while staffed by wonderful professionals like Shiva, fell short in amenities and functionality. For instance, the steam sauna was excessively hot, and several amenities, such as the ice machine and shower, were non-operational. 2. Room Issues • Minor plumbing problems persisted, and the main door failed to close properly—a significant security concern that was not fully resolved. 3. Dining Experience • At the Salia restaurant, the food remains lackluster, and service can be slow. For example, we waited over 30 minutes for dessert despite the restaurant being nearly empty. • On our final day, confusion regarding our pre-arranged lunch transfer led to unnecessary embarrassment when I was initially asked to pay for the meal. 4. Guest Conduct • On our last day, some guests used the pool in their outdoor clothing, which was both unsanitary and against the standards of a luxury property. While cultural differences might explain this behavior, it was disappointing that hotel management failed to enforce appropriate dress codes. Conclusion While the beginning and end of our stay were marred by logistical and management issues, the majority of our experience was outstanding, thanks to the dedication of the staff and the improved quality of services.
