Its private white sand beach accompanies seven fabulous swimming pools, including a pirate-themed aqua zone for children to cool off on sun-soaked Marjan Island. All with balcony or terrace with direct beach access, sea, pool or garden views, 42” flat-screen TV, WiFi, clock radio with MP3 connection, mini-bar*, safe, hairdryer, iron and board, bathrobes, and slippers. Guest Room Pool View are located in the Villa building and feature a furnished balcony and 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Bay Club Beach Front Rooms with sea view are 45 sq m, are located on the higher floors with uninterrupted sea views from a spacious balcony, and have a chaise lounge and armchair with ottoman. Each room has 1 king-size bed and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Bay Club Sea Front Rooms with beach access are 45 sq m and are located on the ground floor offering direct beach access. Each room has 1 king-size bed and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Two Queen Bed Bay Club Beach Front Rooms with sea view are 45 sq m, and are on higher floors with uninterrupted views from the balcony. Each room has 2 queen-size beds and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Two Queen Bed Bay Club Sea Front Rooms are 45 sq m, and are on the ground floor with direct beach access. Each room has 2 queen-size beds and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Private Beach Villa with direct beach access and 3 bedrooms, sleeping maximum 8 adults. Amazing trip, included everything you would want for a holiday, Mousse the events man was great fun and we loved doing table tennis tournaments with him. Me and my boyfriend had loads of fun, and looks great for families too, Definitely recommend.

Stayed for 7 nights mid - late January as a couple 40+. Hotel is around an hour away from Dubai centre and Dubai Airport. Traffic is heavy getting in and out of the centre however no worse than any other big city. We arrived at the hotel around 10:30pm and were greeted with friendly reception staff who gave us a choice of floors for the Bay Club Room we had booked. Snack restaurant opened at 11:30pm so as we had missed dinner time we were able to grab a snack before bed. Building work going on close by however nothing too noisy or distracting. Room: We booked a Bay Club Room. Room was large with plenty of space. Wardrobe only had 4 hangers between the two of us. So a tip is to bring hangers if you want to hang clothes. Iron, ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner all provided. Bed was comfortable and our room had a lovely sea view. Bed was made daily. No mini bar in room although bottled water and any tea, coffee or milk used is replaced each day. Pools: Only used the pool by Bay Club Rooms once. All other days we spent on the beach. Pool was big with plenty of beds around it. Heated in January. Life guards work the pools and beach. Main pool is more lively with music throughout the day. Kids splash pool is under shade so ideal for those with little ones. Adult only pool looked nice and is close to the buffet restaurant. This pool however was in the shade from about 2pm onwards. If you’re not fussed about where you sit around any of the pools then there is absolutely no need to reserve beds at this time of year. Plenty available. Beach: Huge beach. More sunbeds that people. Inflatables in the water. Sand is sharp on the feet but nothing too much to handle. Water in January was freezing, but refreshing from the 25 degree heat. Even with hundreds of metres of beach to choose from, no matter where my partner and I sat (away from everyone) there would always be others who for some reason and would come lay right next to us!? Strange but we laughed about it in the end. Restaurant: We didn’t pay for the ultra AI upgrade. Other than the additional restaurants we saw little benefit. Ok so on standard AI you can’t get alcoholic drinks before midday….but who wants alcohol before 12pm anyway? It’s really not an issue. Buffet restaurant was ok. Not outstanding but I’ve been to worse AI buffets. Choice of food each night and they did try to mix it up so wasn’t too repetitive. I have however had many better AI buffets experienced food wise in Turkey. As I said - food is ok. Nothing more. Fine for the 7 days we were there. Didn’t experience the A La Carte restaurants so can’t comment on those. Beer is served in cans. Just one of a few small things that would, in my opinion, prevent this being a 5 star hotel. Again though, no big deal. White wine was fine. Of course it’s not going the be the most expensive wine in the Middle East. It’s part of AI….so what do people expect? One negative of the buffet restaurant was the number of small children running around, getting their own food and getting in the way of people who were carrying hot food or drink. Of course this is no fault of the hotel - just parents needing to have a bit of common sense and stopping their 4 year olds getting their own food. Trip: We booked a trip via Cleopatra travel who are based within the hotel reception area. We paid for a trip into Dubai being picked up and 10am and dropped back to the hotel at 10pm. A driver for the day who will take you to all the sights. We paid to go to The Palm and to floor 154 of Burj Khalifa for sunset. Both well worth it. Also went to the frame, Museum of Future and Burj Al Arab. Our driver for the day Mohammed was fab. Cost of the trip wasn’t cheap but the convenience of having a driver to ourselves all day made it worth while. Dubai Mall is huge and you’d probably need at least 2 days to see all of it. Entertainment: Didn’t stay out any evening to watch the entertainment in thehotel so can’t comment on this Cleanliness: Hotel wasn’t dirty. However wasn’t the cleanest hotel I’ve been to. Certainly not unhygienic just one or two things that you wouldn’t expect from such a hotel. Read less
