As we stayed during the Christmas time, we even got a stocking full of sweet delights. Special thanks to Said and Tun who served us excellently during the meals at the restaurant. All in all, breakfasts were amazing. If you get there, do not miss the truffle Parmesan omelet! We will definitely be back! Read less

With each villa having a secluded garden and a private pool this villa only hotel worked brilliantly for us. We could not have chosen better hotel for our short family break in RAK ( which as an area was also a revelation). Read less

This was our sixth stay at the Ritz Carlton Al Hamra Beach Resort, and once again, it was a fantastic experience that reminded us why we keep returning. The extremely friendly and welcoming staff make each visit so memorable. The villa layout and the outside area are absolutely beautiful – it’s a private paradise! The private pool and outdoor shower are highlights for us, giving that perfect blend of luxury and privacy. Waking up in such a tranquil setting and winding down by our private pool has become one of our favorite rituals. We’d like to express our appreciation to the people who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Special thanks to Juliy, Fillend, and Mahmoud at the front desk for always being so helpful and welcoming. At the restaurant, Sue, Moe, Prashant, Said, Jesiya, Deepu, and Rani created such a warm atmosphere every morning and evening, making each meal a cherished part of our day. Maddie, who brought our ice buckets daily with such a cheerful smile, added a personal touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Amir and Mario who drove us around in the buggies and took care of our bycicles. To the kitchen and housekeeping staff, we didn’t get the chance to meet, but their impeccable work and attention to detail with the villa and food did not go unappreciated. And, of course, Arun and Clark - thank you for adding that extra personal touch that made us feel truly looked after. You made our stay feel even more special, and we’re so grateful. If there is anyone I have forgotten, please rest assured, even if your name is not mentioned here, we still remember your warm smile when you greeted us! There are also stray cats that seem to belong here. They can be quite friendly if you’re a cat lover, and if you shoo them away, they’ll keep their distance. It would be reassuring to know if there’s a spay and neuter program in place, as one cat seemed to be expecting kittens soon. While we love this resort deeply, there are a few areas that could use attention. The resort is starting to show its age, with some chipped tiles and other details that we’ve mentioned over the years, yet they remain unaddressed. The technology in the room could use an upgrade; our TV kept shutting off automatically, or the channel would go dark with only sound, making it a bit frustrating to unwind with a show. Also, the beach could benefit from more regular cleaning, as there was noticeable debris. However, these minor points don’t overshadow the wonderful experience we had. The Ritz Carlton Al Hamra Beach Resort remains a true five-star gem, and it is the incredible staff who make this place so special. We look forward to coming back again! Read less

A return visit was a must after last year. It was interesting to see the changes, with two massive new hotels next to our resort, but our beach was still enormous and the sea was still wonderfully lukewarm and a delight to swim in. This year they have organised a dine-around system which gave us greater choice beyond the two excellent Al Hamra Beach restaurants. T he accommodation is one of the reasons for our return visit. Open the door and you find a luxurious villa in a beautiful garden. You also have two sets of sun loungers, one in sun and one in shade, together with a nice plunge pool. Walk to the end of the garden and you're right onto the beach and a short stroll to the sea. The villas are so delightful that many guests seem not to use the beach or the sea, so the peaceful ambiance was a welcome relief from the more crowded city hotels. A point to note is that Ras Al Khaimah is a rapidly expanding state, with many hotels and villas under construction. A prime example of this is the first-ever Hotel/Casino being built on an island off the Al Hamra beach. It's due for completion in 2026, and together with the 15 extra villas planned for this resort, may mean that the hideaway we discovered last year is no longer a secret! As I was suffering from painful sciatica, the staff were very kind and helped in every possible way. I should also mention that our much-trusted UK agent Angelfish Travel even arranged for wheelchairs at Heathrow and Dubai airports, which made my journey much less stressful. Read less

Definitely the best choice for Ras Al Khaimah, we love this boutique resort, beautiful villas, very spacious, large private gardens, all beachfront, private pools, outdoor showers and baths, along with lots more We have stayed here several times and are never disappointed, we normally stay as a couple as a special occasion trip without the children because the luxury tented villas are open plan, they do have living areas and bedrooms but are still open, however overworked for us and we had the best time with our children and grandparents, we booked 2 interconnecting villas (14 and 15) and we paid to set up the tippee tent in the garden for one of the villas which the kids absolutely adored and fell asleep in ans we moved them inside later, the food is amazing, our seafood dinner on the beach was the best we’ve had in ages, the breakfast was also delicious with the best service, we can’t fault this hotel, we love it and we will be back, we were going to try the new Sofitel next door as a family trip to Ras al Khaimah from Dubai but we are so pleased we chose the Ritz Carlton beach again, the kids adored the hotel and the setting is so much nicer than any other hotel in the Al hamra area of Ras al Khaimah, with the best service, thankyou so much for making our stay fantastic and we recommend this place to everyone! Familes/couples/spa trips etc! Read less
