This is a very special place! I was amazed at the detail in the ambience of the whole place. From the exquisite bathroom which I loved! To the bedside lamps, then the big wall size window to see the beautiful forest! And it doesn’t stop there… the dining was incredible and the speciality drinks were ones I wish I had now! Yum! To the bedside lamps, then the big wall size window to see the beautiful forest! And it doesn’t stop there… the dining was incredible and the speciality drinks were ones I wish I had now! Yum! The portions were huge! The dining room was so pretty and just walking across the hall to the bathroom was amazing. It’s a beautiful place. The calcite chandeliers were beautiful and the slabs displayed with copper blue bleeding into the rock slice were beautiful. The walk from our room past the hot tub pool area was so pretty too! Then we met Albert and his girlfriend who came up close to our window in the morning. It was cool just being here. Read less

The Little America hotel was absolutely perfect! From the moment we laid eyes on it, with the twinkling Christmas lights everywhere around the property, to the lobby with the cute gift shop and roaring fire in the fireplace, to Michaela’s super friendly greeting, we knew we were in for a treat. The room was very large and extremely clean, with two sinks/vanities, one inside the bathroom and one outside. The bathroom itself was very large, with an all-glass enclosed, modern, shower and upscale CO Bigelow toiletries. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of seating between the desk chair and large corner, high-back, chair, to the ample (larger than standard hotel size) sofa. All in all, we had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel! Read less

Where were they hiding this place? The decor, rooms and grounds are amazing. When I asked if the hotel is relatively new, I was told it was over 50 years old. They must have had a total renovation. It is so beautiful. The grounds are immaculate and make for a nice stroll. The pool is lovely. Great service in the hotel restaurant for dinner… Read more

Fantastic buffet for breakfast but getting drinks (coffee, tea or juice) was a wait. Drinks were served by the waitstaff which were obviously trying their best. Read less

This is a great hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfy. The bathrooms are wonderful. The restaurant has great food and friendly staff. My ONLY complaint is about the complimentary coffee. They brew one pot, and when it runs out, that's it. The pot is removed at 7 a.m. when the restaurant opens. Even budget hotels offer free coffee all day.… Read more

They brew one pot, and when it runs out, that's it. The pot is removed at 7 a.m. when the restaurant opens. Even budget hotels offer free coffee all day. As there is no designated coffee shop (as there is at the Little America Hotel in Utah), I think this hotel would do well to offer coffee all day-or at the very least put out two containers of coffee each morning. Yes, there are k-cups in the room, but there is a big difference between brewed coffee and k-cups. Read less

Everything here was top notch. Every amenity in the hotel room was the best money could buy, and no need was overlooked. The lobby area was stunning and decorations around were just beautiful. It was clearly a full service hotel with a very nice restaurant, resort-style pool/hot tub/playground/walking trails, and a spirit of service. All the trees around were a nice change from some of the desert areas we'd recently traveled through. We regretted not spending more time here. The large bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, and vanity was impressive enough, but there was an additional sink and vanity area outside that bathroom but still in a bathroom and not in the room. So nice to have all that extra space! The iron was a fancy steamer, not a traditional iron. We didn't use it but instructions were provided and I'm sure it worked well. It was our preference to grab a quick cheap snack after arrival instead of an expensive meal, and the adjacent Travel Center truck stop was a great place for that. Just walk over from the hotel. A bonus is picking up any drinks or foods for your room. Since it's an older hotel, there are areas where stairs must be used. We were given some choices based on whether we wanted to walk up stairs (and carry luggage) or not. If you have a need to avoid stairs, just request something where that isn't a problem. There was construction going on over at the truck stop area that made driving in and out confusing, but nothing that caused any excess noise. The location was also super convenient to anywhere in Flagstaff, including the airport. Initially we didn't see this hotel in our searches, looking at chain hotels first, but in retrospect there's nowhere else in Flagstaff we would have enjoyed more. Hoping to return there someday.
