The only good thing I can say about this property is the location. It is within walking distance of the ski lifts at heavenly. This property is under renovation and I knew that when I chose to stay here, but I assumed they would be making an effort to minimize the inconvenience to guests. However, this was not the case. You have to walk right through the construction mess and the dust is so thick in the air that it was hard to breathe. While the workers are all wearing masks and hardhats, they have guests walking through an open construction site with nothing. The $26.95 resort fee should be waived because very few of the amenities are available. My daughter and son-in-law stayed here two years ago and the Jacuzzi didn’t work. The Jacuzzi still doesn’t work today. We stayed in a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor, however the entire floor and each of the elevators reeked of cigarette smoke. It’s great that they’re doing renovations because there have probably been no renovations since the building was built. The walls are literally crumbling, wallpaper peeling off, and black stuff in all of the grout lines in the shower. The bed was very uncomfortable with very obvious springs The customer service was terrible. Twice they saw my daughter and me pushing a stroller with a baby while carrying skis and equipment, struggling to get through the door and they just watched us and offered no assistance. Also at that door, there are no automatic ADA doors. For what we paid it was way overpriced and I do not recommend staying here. Read less

If you want a del in a room in Tahoe and don’t mind the noise of remodel, stay here. It’s loud as you pass the activity of workmen. The stay is nothing special, our room had some worn down and non-working items, cabinets falling off hinges etc. low water pressure. Sheets were meh. It’s just average.

We had a nice time. Hotel was comfortable and friendly. Jim Burnes was very helpful in us getting our room. We were very appreciative. Our room was fine. We could easily walk to the other casinos. There weren't too many many places to eat. All went well.

The pillows were very uncomfortable. The coffee mugs were dirty our shower didn’t close correctly the workers were drilling and the plugs didn’t work. The valet staff were friendly and nice. The food was okay. I think our visit could have been a little better if the room was up to date.

We always come up to Tahoe for my birthday. We stayed at Harvey’s and I made dinner reservations at the Sage Room. We had dinner last year there and it was not good at all. But I really want this to be a go to for us because of the view and ambience. I won’t go into last year but let’s just say food was not good and management’s reaction was insincere. This review is about the food. Service was ok, just ok. My wife ordered the scallops and I ordered the New Steak. My wife likes her scallops cooked medium well. I understand that scallops are at their best when cooked rare. And I love scallop sashimi. But my wife likes them medium well, so they should be done that way. Nope, rare and not even warm in center. She sent them back and apologized for being so difficult and she understands that most chefs cook scallops more rare than she likes them. When they returned they were even more rare the before. She squeezed one with her fork and the scallop “milk” bled out. A couple of them were cold. Was the kitchen pissed at us for retuning scallops to be cooked more? We told our server and she apologized. I asked for her to take the scallops off the bill which she said she would. But a manger should have come by, absolutely necessary when a customer is not pleased. I told my server my steak was good, only because I was embarrassed to let my wife know it was not good. No flavor and tough. Very disappointed. I talked her into coming back here after last year’s terrible food. We will not be coming back, at least not for a very long time. Read less
