Scary and Dangerous! My kids and I just had a terrible experience here. We could not get into the pools so we tried a second way around which opened for us. We walked through and my kids started sinking to their knees in ice water, they where screaming that there feet hurt, screaming and crying, they lost there shoes in the snow and ice and they had to walk several feet about 12 ft in snow and ice ti get to a fire pits to warm there feet . Even as my kids cried and screamed nobody came to help. That entrance to the pool had no warning not to enter . I called the front desk several times. Waited for help to get my kids shoes back and nobody came until I went and found a nice young lady who helped me carry my kids back trough about 5 minutes to our room because my kids had no shoes and it was cold and snowing . I would never expect for a place that charges this much money to treat guests this way and also not be aware of the dangers after so many years of being open. Kids were so stressed out we just hung out in the hotel room. Where we weren’t even able to get them a decent dinner for “in -room dining” for dinner there is really not very many options at all. I tried getting them to go back to having fun after the scare we had at the pools, went to the “Game Room” this is such a sad and depressing “game room” I own an in -home daycare and have more games than this. They have some old connect 4 and a soccer table that’s always being hogged. How does a place that charges so much money have this terrible customer service . The manager names Nicole did her best to makeup for it but this place is so limited , in everything. I don’t think we will be coming back . We will try a different place because this place charges us above $2400 dollars and then still charges us parking to not even have carts to carry out luggage up to our room available to us . And charges extra for parking, also still charges for skate rentals, sleds and $5 water bottles ? Won’t be coming back . Will try a different resort next year. For this price we can do better. The rooms are not too speaciek either for $400 dollars a night this experience really sucks . Don’t come here . Read less

Some trips are good but you end the trip ready to go back home. Other trips you think I could just live here. This place is the second one. Incredible service. Friendlly staff at six Peaks( Susan). Great rentals, food is fantastic. Just to die for..

View from the room of the slopes and snow-covered trees were amazing but that was about it. The place was so disorganized and chaotic it was laughable. First, checking in during a snowstorm, valet was full, and they told me to self-park down the street on the side of the road. "Just find a spot" is what they said. DURING A BLIZZARD. Second, the room looked like it was decorated by a college kid shopping at Goodwill. The couch was an awkward size that didn't fit the room, and it had four mix-matched frumpy pillows. All other furniture looked to be circa 1990 and were filled with nicks and dings. The TV in the bedroom had a white extension cord hanging down the back. Classy... Third, the bathroom looked to be from a Motel 6. Toilet out and open in the middle of the room and a horrible tub/shower combo with an even worse plastic shower curtain. To top it off, there were those pump shampoo/conditioners attached to the wall that were all grungy and broken. Amazing place to clean up... Next, since there was a snowstorm, the access to the rooms was outdoors and they failed to even shovel a bit of snow or slush, so we had to carry our bags through the muck to even get to our room. To top it all off, the food was just ok. At their main restaurant, the mac and cheese side with mushrooms and truffles were some of the best we've ever had but the mushroom gnocchi was inedible to say the least. The braised short rib was good but for over $300 for the entire tab, I've had WAY better. The lobby bar was also sloppy with making their drinks and a tiny Old Fashioned cocktail was $27! Yikes... Overall, there are much better places to stay. We ended up checking out early and headed over to the Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Village which was much better. The Ritz is also so much better. This place is not worth the money and is nowhere near a luxury property. Service is non-existent, the property is very tired and old, and the food and drink are outrageously priced for what you get. Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great dinner and drinks at Six Peaks

Six Peaks Grille is a fantastic spot for dinner and drinks. Susan served us excellent cocktails, and she was very sweet and attentive. We shared the tomahawk steak for dinner, which was KILLER! Definitely a must visit spot when you’re at Palisades.
