Image of the Tripadvisor rating Family friendly and a great Stay

Great hotel for our family. They had an event where the kids got a prize everyday for finding their Elf on the Shelf. Rooms were clean and whatbto be expected. The A/C heater machine could be quieter during the night but we all slept so it is what it is. Staff were very friendly and the property was safe and a 5min walk to Disney. Not more… Read more

We would stay again and that's a lot for us to say. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Scooters aren't allowed past the lobby

Would not recommend for scooter users. We were informed that even with an ADA room the scooter was not allowed past the lobby. You can leave it in the lobby during the day but then the rental company must pick it up EVERY NIGHT of your stay and bring it back every morning. Most hotels allow them in the room and lots even store for delivery and… Read more

Most hotels allow them in the room and lots even store for delivery and pick up. We were very disappointed because I can not walk very far especially after a long day at disney and we didn't want to be limited by the scooter companies business hours. Personal scooters (i have one i could fly with) were also not permitted. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Felt like a motel, not a Marriott, but clean and friendly

It was clean and the staff was nice. I felt like I was at a motel 6, though once we got in the room. The concrete walls, terrible quality of towels and tissues were not for me. We did have a quite nights sleep and got to see the fireworks at night! That was cool. Probably wouldn’t be back though.

We unfortunately had a disappointing really negative experience to remember at this hotel. While staying here we got a call while at Disneyland to inform us that our car had been found damaged. We were parked in front of the rooms. We were told management would go through everything with us once we got back to the hotel. When we got back to our hotel the front desk staff said they could not help us and said the manager on duty did not want to talk to us. They said the manager had left us a message informing us that our car was damaged and there was nothing else to say. They refused to have a manager call us. We were taken aback by how unhelpful the staff were. They didn’t want to talk to us at all or help in any way. Not what we would have expected from Marriott. They didn’t seem to care that this had happened on property. There was no customer service at all. Security confirmed there are no cameras on the hotel walkways in front of the rooms and that they also don’t patrol the room walkways. This is very concerning from a safety perspective. Marriott claims said hotels are not required to have CCTV installed around the hotel. The hotel also refused to file a police report. From looking at our car damages it appears a full Coca Cola bottle fell from one of the upper floor room walkways through the car windshield also damaging the interior. No one took responsibility for the accident. We noticed the housekeeping carts (while rooms are being cleaned) were being parked against the upper floor railings directly above cars and pedestrian walkways. The top of the carts were level with the top of the railings with items sticking out that could fall off onto people and cars below. The bottle may have fallen off one of the carts.. Since there’s no cameras on property, we are having to pay expenses such as deductible, rental car insurance etc. The day after the incident a manager on duty after we asked agreed to comp one night. However, this does not cover the out of pocket expenses we have had from the car damages, rental car etc. Aside from the car damages and lack of customer service, the only thing this hotel has going for it is its great location. The beds were uncomfortable (you can feel springs) and the walls are paper thin so it’s noisy. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. We paid almost $500 a night for this bad experience. With no cameras on site, it’s not a safe place to stay. A guest could be attacked here or a room broken into and there’s no cameras to protect customers. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great location, Fairfield Inn is a fair option

Purchased our stay at the Fairfield Inn through a Costco package. Price was high, but that's the market rate. My sister got a much better rate booking directly through the hotel but she has high status and lots of points with Marriott. The actual building is a motel style with outdoor hallways. The rooms themselves are nothing fancy. We had one of the "premium rooms". I'm not sure what made it premium apart from a Disney themed mural on the wall. The floors were a pleasant faux hardwood. Beds were comfy enough. We had some issues with the room that were promptly addressed. The hair dryer wasn't working and someone quickly cam through and gave us a replacement. On our 2nd day our key card wouldn't open the door. Had to head down to the front desk and apparently the battery on the lock had gone bad. Security came up promptly and let us in and a couple minutes later someone came by and replaced the battery. Didn't have any problems thereafter. We checked-in with Brandon who was very pleasant and helpful. He got us an early check-in (1:00ish) which was much appreciated. He also broke a $100 bill for us so we'd have change for tips and stuff. The parking charges aren't cheap (just hold your nose, everything on a Disneyland trip is expensive) but the self-park is the same price as valet. Valet fellas were nice enough and quick getting our car. Pool is ok. Just your standard rectangle and small hot tub. Both were pretty overrun the one time we went down, but there's lots of families here so no suprise. If you want a nice pool there are a couple places next door with slides and a water-park-like scene. The motel is fine and all but you're paying for the location. You could feel the fireworks as you laid in bed. It was pretty intense. We had friends stay at the Dineyland Hotel and they were complaining about the long walk through Downtown Disney. Fairfield Inn is probably closer and you have both Panera and McDonalds adjacent so quick bites/drinks are super convenient and affordable compared to the parks. Panera is kinda slow (or maybe it was the girls' coffee drinks?) so be sure to put your order in through the app 15 minutes before you plan on picking it up. All in all we got what we expected at Fairfield Inn. Expensive for a motel style place, but good service, and a perfect location. We'd stay here again. Read less
