Hilton Los Angeles Universal City

The hotel

A Hollywood hangout with noteworthy neighbours, this LA bolthole’s just a block from the theme park heaven of Universal Studios, and just a subway trip from the star-studded sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard. That hasn’t stopped Hilton Los Angeles Universal City coming up with a few extra treats of its own though – our favourite being FIVE on the Hill, where you can enjoy signature dishes and freshly-curated cocktails with Hollywood Hills in the background. Most make a beeline straight for Universal Studios – and, despite it being just around the corner, there’s a complimentary shuttle to save you walking (great for hot days!). And, while you’re there, you can also take in a movie, grab cocktails or craft beers, hit big-name shops, and dine at celeb-chef eateries in the neon lustre of Universal CityWalk.

Although the park is within 1/4 of a mile the shuttle was a nice touch because of several members of our group have walking issues. The rooms were very clean & up to date. My room had a view of Universal which was nice. Breakfast was Good & got us up and running to the Park. Thanks again to Gweneth At the Front desk. Read less

We enjoyed the meals - breakfast was more than I expected. We ate in two of their restaurants with live entertainment (great jazz band). I couldn’t believe how delicious the Christmas Dinner (seafood-lobster/crab/shrimp, prime rib, deserts and more). Universal studio was within walking distance but they had a shuttle if you didn’t want to walk. Each night I slept like a baby in my wonderful bed with the best fluffiest pillows you can imagine. A must stay. Read less

Amazing room size. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again. The best location for Universal Studios. Very accomodating, I asked for a microwave and it was no problem. The bed was extremely comfortable. They were very swift with any request.

The rooms are tidy when I arrived. The bellman even got me a bucket of ice. Everyday housekeeping would see if my coffee and tea are filled up. While eating breakfast, the food servers are polite and assist guests accordingly. The conference was in this hotel and doesn’t fail to amaze me. Food serve in between conferences were great.
